Garcia's Lawyer Says Arrest is Based on Speculation
24 min ago

Jim Lewis says Garcia never met Markel and the evidence does not add up, "there's a lot of evidence that the Tallahassee Police Department and the FBI have put forward in this case that are just not correct. I just think they have it wrong. And I just think when we get to court, hopefully sooner rather then later, they'll see they have the wrong guy here."

Garcia is in the Leon County Jail. His bond hearing is scheduled for June 24th. At that hearing, Garcia's attorney says he plans to ask for his client to be released, so he can go home to his family.

DM had this family's number. He knew the truth about these people. He was about to beat them at their own game and they knew it. I feel so sorry for him.

I bet WA has very few friends. Haven't seen much speculation about her involvement until recently, but I haven't seen any real support for her.

MOO
I think you are absolutely correct-Dan was on to the horrid games being played by WA & some of her family members. The fact that his sons were being used as pawns is & was disgusting. Now they may lose their mother, uncle & grandmother due to a murder plot used to execute their father. There may be others involved too. These people are not criminal masterminds. It never ceases to amaze me how crime perpetrators leave electronic footprints to be traced.

And just based upon info released thus far, because WA was not getting what she wanted- for once. This one is as tragic as it comes... MOO.

As soon as I heard the monologue by WA during her writing class, I was appalled by her unemotional, sarcastic, insensitive, remarks about the deceased father of her children. And now, after reading more examples of her deviant behaviors, and her outlandish sense of entitlement, my theory about this crime has been fully substantiated.

Wonder if the Florida Smile Makers are working today.

Why would 2 people be hired to do the job?
Nailing a man, who is sitting, probably still strapped to a seat belt in his car, in his own garage, would be like shooting fish in a bowl, for anyone, never mind gang member" kings", imo
It could be so that one is the shooter and the other the get-away driver, but if the car was clearly seen and recorded and not exactly a race-car, what was the point in that exercise?
To keep each other company for the long drive and the rented motel room?
R, apparently has a mental disease and was on his way to jail- why hire/ bring him, unless it was a type of insurance in case they were caught, ie. wacko criminal kills man for no reason?
The people who allegedly ordered the hit, surely would know about cctv and cell phone pings and gangs and robberies ect. ect. so it would seem reasonable to think that G&R would be caught, imo.
It would be plausible that DM was murdered by gangster robbers, presumably far removed from a certain well-respected family, imo.
So what gives with the major, imo loophole- association with the baby-mama of a known gang member, who also happens to be the suspect in the murder??
Has someone been inhaling too much laughing gas?
The other thing i don't get, is- if a family has more than enough resources to leave the country and stay away, why not just up and close shop and live, where the children were already living? AND of course, where their Dad, lived too!

Speculation, imo.

“Suspected co-defendants have the financial means to flee the country and to not return, and in fact, have already been discovered talking about leaving,”

BBM
Maybe only one man, LR, was hired to do the job. Could be SG wanted a crown as well, along with his King gang name and killing DM was his way in.
And maybe I've watched too many episodes of Cops!
I have no idea but agree it is very odd to double your chances of being seen or identified by having two people in the murderous Prius.

While planning the crime, I think participants must have been sitting around using laughing gas. Very sloppy crime for such "intelligent" folks.

Why have 2 killers? The one hired did not want to pull the trigger so he got someone else to help.

Tend to agree. Garcia was another intermediary.

How I wish Ann Rule was still around to write the book on this one, it would have been right up her alley!

Just to comment on the confusion of the graphic on the Tall. Dem website, the graphic that was on the front page of the print edition was different and more of an accurate representation of the case as we know it.
Well, I checked the graph again and now they have Luis Rivera connected to Wendi and Donna Adelson. I left an email w/ Karl Etters to see if he could explain it (or, maybe he 's not aware how confusing it is).

Unfortunately , this didn't tell me a thing. I'm interested in what the company was and what product or service they provided.
And I was going for a little "humor" with my post above but I fear I didn't succeed.

I'd like to know more about the origin of CA & KM's relationship. Speculating, but I don't think they're still together & I can't help but wonder if he preyed on her for the sole purpose of finding a trigger man.

I had a fleeting thought that the locked up baby daddy boyfriend may never have known, if it weren't for the search warrant, that BIL was "intimate" with her. Perhaps he just thought he was doing a job for somebody and didn't know what was behind the scenes with her and him as to the intimacy... ( okay English Majors, is it he and she? :giggle: )

:escape: :escape: :escape: indeed!

Garcia said he does not know Dan and never saw him and I believe he is right! He was the driver and LR was the shooter. They said LR had schizo since 10 years old so I don't think he would have been capable of getting this done without Garcia's help. So I believe the brother got KM to hook Garcia up with this guy to do it. Still don't know if WA and DA knew about it. JMO
