Dental surgery can be so painful, sometimes the pain continues long after the initial pain killers prescribed are finished.........
imo, speculation.

I'm sure some dentists are quite "lenient." Just last week I was at the dentist and overheard the dentist gently scolding one of the receptionists for telling a patient who called that the doctor would prescribe something for pain......he was like, "NO, I will not do that because I have not even seen her in person for this particular problem...." (This is what is called ethics).

Hmm I forgot about Jessica Rodriguez wonder if she’ll be testifying?

Here's What to Expect From the Dan Markel Murder Trial
Also expected to testify is Jessica Rodriguez, the mother of one of Rivera's children. Shortly after Garcia's arrest, she texted Magbanua in an angry frenzy, according to a transcript of an FBI wiretap of Magbanua's phone.

"The reason your husband is in jail becouse of you n charlie," Rodriguez texted. "Like everyone doesnt know that [sic]."

Very possible. SG was charged on May 26, 2016 and LR on June 2, 2016. So there may be more to it than we know.
I think they charged LR second because he was safely incarcerated and to charge him first would have tipped off SG who likely would have made a run for it

Agree, unless there's evidence we don't know about. Maybe we can hope for a conspiracy charge for Wendi.
Is it possible that WAs law license is in jeopardy?

Was curious if WA mentioned why she called DM "Jibbers". It seems, if I recall, it wasn't meant to be derogatory. It seems derogatory to me, but does this mean something else? I wonder if he talked "jibberish", but he didn't seem that way, based on what testimony and programs I have heard about him. Anyone want to speculate?

Don’t ask me where, but I thought I read somewhere DM liked to talk a lot. So, when I heard the nickname, Jibbers, it made sense. It was a derogatory thing, for sure.

No, she’s not even charged with anything, let alone convicted.
In fact the prosecutors have never IMO hinted she knew of the alleged plot until this trial when it seems the prosecutors are hinting that which was a big surprise to me

But in any case no I’m sure her license is just fine..and the Florida Bar will take the innocent until proven guilty thing quite seriously which is right imo

Also from the Miami New Times article from June (I recommend reading the article as it has other details, mainly quotes of DA emails to WA that I have not seen reported elsewhere.)
A Professor's Murder in Tallahassee Was a Contract Hit, Prosecutors Say

On July 11, 2014, Donna emailed Wendi to confirm a Best Buy appointment to fix a broken TV set. It was scheduled for between 8 a.m. and noon July 18, 2014.

Dan would be shot dead in that time frame.

Yes, when is the last time anyone had a TV repairman come to the house? For me, it was back in the 60s. It did sound like a code word, or something.

Periodontists and dental clinics do not bring in that much income. The income of more than 180k has got to be from other business ventures. But CA having a safe full of CASH means something else to me. CASH businesses are many times from illegal activity. Sleeping with a gun and keeping bundles of cash in a safe aren’t behaviors I’d associate with my dentist or perio guy. It’s not usual behavior. JMO and MOO.

Don’t forget, it was a refrigerator sized safe!

I don't think we need to speculate, it was 100% in relation to the Adelson's impression that he talked incessantly, as the quote from the newspaper above shows.

What is troubling to me about WA's testimony on this point was that she did not concede that this was a derogatory name when asked that question directly. This is incredibly disingenuous. It was a cruel mocking nickname she and her family gave Dan as part of their general obsessive hatred of him. To suggest otherwise is at least misleading, at worst perjury. And it also says a lot that instead of putting his number under the name "Dan" in her cell phone, she actually used the pejorative "Jibbers". Something very petty and cruel is going on there.

I know it's a small detail but if you watch WA's testimony there are countless small misleading statements like this that, IMO, cast doubt on her overall veracity and (again IMO) make her seem more culpable than I at least believed beforehand.

I also thought this was implausible but I've read several people say that LE confirmed w the repairman that he was there; something like the Best Buy Geek Squad.

Still, this is a damning fact: DA set up a TV repair appointment at the same time as Dan's murder so WA would have an airtight alibi. Not a coincidence, IMO, and strange that a grown woman would have a parent make an appointment from hundreds of miles away instead of handling it herself.

Yes, as we age, it's more likely we are setting up Geek Squad appointments for our parents, not the other way around.

Also, maybe the tech went there for one reason and when he/she got there, the problem (a cracked screen) was something unexpected.

WA was so misleading in her testimony. Some things that stood out to me:

When asked if her parents were millionaires, she paused, then said, “Are you asking me to speculate?” C’mon.

When asked about the order telling her she had to stay in Tally with the boys, she said something to the effect, “Oh, I love Tallahassee.” Please, everyone knows she hated it!

She came off as evasive and disingenuous.

IMHO

She mentioned it to JL previously so that was no secret and would have come up when they interrogated JL. That wasn't from the kindness of her heart. The drive by is like our fellow members have stated: "She just couldn't help herself." I think the drive by was a double check after the phone call.
Could she have had a garage door opener, drive by, close the garage door....thank goodness for the heroic neighbor that dialed 911 and saw the prius

Absolutely. I guess they were super close but I would think that most people wouldn’t know their parents financial statuses... I wouldn’t anyways but maybe I’m being naive. I guess mine aren’t millionaires anyways and I would maybe know if they are!
And then to lie about something that clearly is not true. Other people have filed those motions and obviously they wanted to move. That doesn’t make you culpable but now it makes you seem like a liar.
Also I’ve mentioned this before but when she didn’t just say that she moved to Miami Dade County and away from Tallahassee as she clearly had and again isn’t anything against her - she clearly wanted to move there with the motion she filed.

I thought this trial would take longer. By this time next week we may have a verdict.

I know, right? And hopefully other arrests right after.

Yes, seems like SG and KM will both be found guilty. Only issue in my mind is will KM flip afterwards? And will the State proceed against CA if she doesn't? JMO.

I hear you. Truthfully I think it could be hard to convict DA and WA as well...

Totally agree. JMO.
Which is sickening... and very sad.
Dan had no idea that he was in danger. So scary.
Edited to add - JMO as well to all of it. Don’t always add that but of course everything I text in speculation is JMO.
