I remember something similar -- SG was declared indigent for purposes of having his costs (investigator, experts etc) paid for by the State. Not sure about attorneys fees though. JMO.

That doesn’t include attorney fees. Quite sure from my own experience in Florida. I think they were doing it pro bono... as favours, etc...

I can't think of a good reason he would be shown a photo of Wendi. But I can see him recognizing her if they had met and planned this dastardly deed. IMO she was very involved in the planning of this murder.

Adelson said she met Katherine Magbanua twice. The first occasion was when her brother Charlie introduced her to him. At the time, Adelson said Charlie was dating Magbanua.

On a separate occasion, she joined Magbanua and one of her friends at a beach. She said it was possible the beach trip happened in June 2014.

From what I understand, the state pays the attorneys representing a DP defendant if the county where they are being tried has no DP qualified Public Defenders.
And Leon County's last DP qualified Public Defender retired right after The Gary Michael Hilton trial.

But SG isn’t using a Leon County Public Defender. SZ is a Miami based attorney who KM was to pay $75,000, bit has only paid $15,000 to date.

Or a public defender from another county. But I don’t think you have to. You can use any death penalty attorney. Now that lauraoh mentioned it I remember Markeith Loyd arguing to use a death penalty qualified attorney from another county and it was a private attorney he wanted to use (and was able to) and he has no money!!

Is it a crime to take money for a hit then not complete the action? Would this be considered theft of service? LOL Now I wanna know who the other gansta's were. Geesh Wendi I thought everybody knew you don't pay till the job is done. This sounds like something she would do not Charlie, he is way too street smart for that...

I think if the State could find the previous criminals a lot of information could be gathered... but I think that would be very difficult.

Ultimately though even if my co-conspirator is offering to pay for my defense, there’s no way I’m risking life in prison to protect them. No way! I seriously doubt KM is not cooperating so as to protect the Adelsons. It’s highly unlikely IMO.

I agree especially after seeing her testimony. She is loyal to herself only. She just thought she could beat it. JMO

yeah I was thinking the same thing, they had to all know, it was a plan. The one thing that keeps nagging at me is the fact he dropped off the kids so they were in his custody when it happened. I know they were in school but still, I cannot imagine a mother asking a couple of gansta hitmen to come to my house and whack my latex spouse when my kids were anywhere near there. What if SG saw his only chance and pulled the trigger with those poor boys there in the back seat? This is the only thing that makes me feel like WA didn't know about the hit. I dunno. In one interview LR said he was not going to kill no mens with kids or over some kids, something to that effect but hey here we are at trial and he is admitting he did it or was just the ride along for company. 35K to just ride along and keep the real killer company, That sounds so shady and fake. BTW, I know he has a personality but remember this guy would cut your throat or your momma's throat in a New York minute if it meant some payout. He is about as low as you can get IMO..

This is correct. They followed Dan to the day care where he dropped off the children, then he proceeded on to the gym.

I'm betting that conniving KM has some hard evidence hidden away. Her arrogant persona broke when they convicted SG. Maybe to save SG from the death penalty she'll try barter with it, I can only hope. And hope it leads right to Wendi. I loath that woman.

I loathe her too. I am trying to recall one of the wiretaps phone calls I believe between KM and SG or his co-worker. I think when the FBI were knocking. It was something said regarding how she does not want the police in her house taking things or going through things. Does anyone remember what was exactly said? I will look for it but I know some of y'all have memories like steel traps. I thought it was odd like she had some evidence in the house.
