Two points: I think Willie Meggs (State Attorney for 2nd Judicial District in Fla) was replaced by Jack Campbell, not by GC. So I think Campbell is now the decisionmaker. Also, if there is a trial against CA, a witnesses's (KM's) testimony about their belief that he is guilty, will almost certainly be objected to by CA's attorney and ruled inadmissible. JMO.

Exactly! Speculation is not allowed.

YIKES... You are correct. ... My mistake. ... I guess you can't edit your posts after awhile so I can't change the original post, but I fixed the online timeline: Dan Markel Murder
Excellent way to present correlating events!

Good find that Jack Campbell calls the shots. Regarding the testimony that KM stated she believes CA is guilty, yes that testimony can't be used to prove CA's guilt and, as I said, the defense will scream bloody murder to keep it out. However, it may be able to be used to impeach KM. The judge might rule it too prejudicial to allow, but I think there's a shot it can come in at some point.

I can't watch these true crime shows. They're so boring to me once I've watched the trial. The trial is far more interesting and the shows seem like hack jobs - overly dramatic and speculative. Besides I already know all the facts and sometimes these shows embellish and it annoys me. Is it just me?

Me too. An elementary version of what I know.

I didn't watch Dirty John (nor that other thing related to the Black Dahlia case - title escapes me) but I enjoyed the podcasts.

Me too. Although the 20/20 episode on Friday did draw me in.

SG looks like this is NBD. Doesn't look upset at all.

I usually like to watch them. Recent shows I've watched on Sarah Stern, Heather Elvis, Mackenzie Lueck and Kelsey Berreth have been decent. My usual complaint is 1 hour is not long enough and I liked the way they did 2 hours on this case.

The legal ninjas are in!

The security around SG is really relaxed, I can't see any. Usually LE sits almost on top of the convict.
