Davie Jane Doe has been unidentified for 44 years today.
What about Teresa Lyn Fittin? The height is the only thing (IMO) that is the most questionable, but that could be explained by a few different things. Her hair doesn’t appear strawberry blond to me, especially at the roots. Her nose is very similar.
ETA: I just noticed the necklace in one of her photos... is that the same one as the UID??
The teeth...It’s hard to tell in a few of Teresa’s photos, but close up they look pretty close to the photo posted up thread except for the size of the gap in between her two top teeth. The rest matches; the way they look like they slant lower to one side...and I can see the large gap in the bottom teeth...idk, I’m not familiar with the technical terms when it comes to dentition. lol
(UID stats in parenthesis)

Missing Since: August 1, 1975 (Dec 23, 1975)
Missing From: Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida (Broward County, Florida)
Missing Age: 18 years old (15-30)
Height: 5 feet 1 inch (5 feet 5 inches)
Weight: 107 pounds (123-125)
Hair Color: Blond/Strawberry (Brown to Auburn; med)
Eye Color: Blue (unknown)
Clothing/Jewelry Description: Possibly a turquoise bracelet and a turquoise ring.
Medical Conditions: Fittin may have been pregnant when she disappeared in August 1975.
Scars/Marks: She has a mole on the inside of her left arm.
According to Charley Project:
Fittin was last seen leaving her apartment in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on August 1, 1975. She had an argument with her boyfriend at their residence on Davie Boulevard and said she was going out to her car to calm down.
Fittin then drove away from the property and disappeared. She has never been seen again. She left all of her personal belongings behind at home, including $300 on her dresser, and she has not accessed her bank accounts since her disappearance. According to family members, it was not unusual for Fittin and her boyfriend to argue.
Her boyfriend reported her as a missing person and told investigators she had been pregnant at the time of her disappearance, but Fittin's family members had no knowledge of the pregnancy and her mother believes she would have been informed if it was true. Her family did discover that she smoked marijuana, but they don't believe she was seriously involved with drugs.
Fittin's wallet was located in a Fort Lauderdale library on August 11, 1975, ten days after she vanished. Her car, a gray-green four-door 1964 or 1966 Nash Rambler with the license plate number 10-16425, has never been recovered.
Fittin may have traveled to Tennessee, Colorado and/or Pennsylvania after leaving Florida. At the time of her disappearance, she was a senior at Stranahan High School, had a job as a restaurant server at a local beachfront hotel, and dreamed of becoming an oceanographer or an artist. Fittin's mother stated her daughter behaved normally in the days prior to her disappearance.
Both her parents are still alive and hope for answers in her case; there is a memorial bench dedicated to Fittin at the Lauderdale Memorial Park cemetery and she will be buried there if her body is ever recovered.
Authorities suspect that foul play was involved in her disappearance and they are investigating her case as a possible homicide. There has been no sign of her since 1975.

Yes, thank goodness for that! You're welcome.
It's good that we all have each other to bail us out before we make seriously stupid mistakes
And merry Christmas to all.
What about his girl? The Doe Network: Case File 863DFCA
The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
Corinne June Groenenberg
missing from CA since Nov 1, 1973
16 years old
Brown Hair
5'6
115lbs
A family friend saw Groenenberg leave her home and followed her until she reached the highway and started to hitchhike.
She was last seen getting into a green or blue truck. The driver was male.
If she was hitchhiking - she could have ended up anywhere.
She has DNA and dentals available - but not on the UID's rule out list (which I know some are ruled out and not on the list because they are in CODIS)
It's hard to see exactly what her teeth look like.
What do you think?

Sheryl Ann Tillinghast – The Charley ProjectWhat about Sheryl Tillinghast. She went missing from Wassaic, NY in 1973. Her dentition looks a lot like this new recon!
It did look promising, but I found a clearer photo and I don’t think her teeth were in quite as bad shape as the UID. That doesn’t mean they couldn’t have deteriorated after the photo was taken, I just wanted to share what I’d found. ETA: linkSheryl Ann Tillinghast – The Charley Project
- 5'3, 140 pounds
- Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian female. Brown hair, brown eyes.

''CRIME HUNTER: New crime show focuses on missing people
In Pursuit: The Missing on ID debuting in the U.S. this weekend''
''One of the other pieces of the puzzle for the show’s team are the thousands of unidentified bodies that fill morgues and pauper’s graves across the country.

These unfortunates are part of Callahan Walsh’s daily life and are typically labelled the missing missing. No one even knows these people are gone.
“We experience that at the National Center. A body is discovered, there is no identification and there isn’t even a missing person’s report. We have to try and figure out who these people are,” he said.''
They really do!Tillinghast's teeth really do look very close.
