She was originally from Indianola, Mississippi. Her body somehow ended up being discovered floating in a canal near 2600 SW 154th Avenue.

Davie Police began working this cold case in November of 2019, they learned of an unidentified woman buried at Wake Forest Lawn in Davie. They exhumed it, and later extracted DNA, which was sent to Parabon labs for a thorough DNA sequencing.

I will be really curious to see if they can find her murderer. In the mid 70s that area was very undeveloped. It’s not like she wandered into a canal or was fishing and fell in.

For some reason, Mr. Samuel Little comes to mind for not only this case but there are 2 UIDs from the early '70's that were found out in the (then) remote Davie area. Seems like the kind of area that would've been ideal for him to murder and/or dump victims.
