Circumstances of Discovery
The victim was located at the 100 Block of North Ocean Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL on the Boardwalk after apparently running from police. He may have been known as "Tom" or "Bob". He had no identification, but carried an application to play pool at Sportsmans Billiards in St. Petersburg. (Per NamUs: This was a witnessed fall from a high wall onto the boardwalk.) (Per FLUIDDB: This was a witnessed suicide.)

Not that it will help identify him, but I’m confused about the cause of death listed on Doe Network. Ran from the police, fell/jumped from a high wall onto a boardwalk...is drowning possible?
 
Do you think it's possible since this was along the beach that he thought when he dove he might be diving into the water? So sad :( Update: I thought that but re-read the article and it says the youth was standing on a pillar above the bathhouse area and the officer "talked him down". :(

I wonder why the police were in pursuit. Then the other two people, supposedly from out of state, were they ever found? This kid jumped in a true effort to suicide or simply escape capture? The write up seems like it’s a combo of two different stories.
