FL - Delray Beach, Hisp/WhtFem, ‘Betzabe’ top, found in 3 suitcases in intracoastal waterway, Jul 2023 - Aydil Barbosa Fontes (80) *husband arrest*

Oh, wow, in the same top in the picture.
It is not the same top.
Delray Beach PD did have two photos of her wearing the floral Betzabe top. Aydil looked older than 35-55 in one of them, a woman in her late 70s and unhappy. I hope it was an older photo and not one taken the day Lowe killed her.

She is the youngest looking 80 I have ever seen. Wow!

Regarding the sister, she is showing as owning a home in Kentucky with her husband? I'm assuming, if I am looking at the correct person. She previously showed at the same apartment address in Delray.

The sister, her parents and siblings were living in Kentucky in the 50s, but I believe they were originally from Tennessee. Also, her husband was from Kentucky, he died in 2012. Maybe she still owns some property there?!

I really don't think we have to worry about Lowe's sister. MOO JMO

The husband of a woman whose remains were found floating in three suitcases was arrested in Florida, Delray Beach police said on Thursday at a news conference.

William Lowe Jr., 78, was charged with first-degree murder, said Delray Beach Police Chief Russ Mager. He was also charged with improper dismemberment of a human body, police said.

The victim was identified as 80-year-old Aydil Barbosa Fontes, police said. Barbosa Fontes was killed by a gunshot wound to the head, the medical examiner determined. [...]

Inside the suitcases, investigators found an airline tag that bore the partial names of the victim, Liberta said.

Lowe appeared in court on Thursday and pleaded not guilty. He is currently being held in Palm Beach County Jail and was not granted bond, according to online records. Police are still searching for a motive.

You are right. She's wearing the same top.
I messed up the posts and thought you had quoted mine.
My apologies!

This is such a strange case...alas spousal abuse and spousal murder is NOT uncommon, but it's crazy to see at this age. I don't want to give him excuses ofc; 78 year old are just as capable of being abusive, violent, and carrying out violence. But I wonder...any recent personality changes?? Any signs of dementia? Im sure they'll fully investigate that (and I'm betting if this goes to trial it will be his defense).

I don't know why I am ever surprised when a(n obviously-guilty, IMO) suspect enters a not guilty plea. Let's hope the wheels of justice run over this murdering loser in a timely manner.

It won’t fly. There is too much evidence in the house and his storage facility. He deserves the harshest sentence possible. Hope he gets what’s coming to him and worse.

Let the mental incompetency tests begin (if they haven't already).
