From June 2014:

http://www.wftv.com/news/news/local/man-convicted-killing-brevard-deputy-may-get-death/ngTXk/

A man convicted of killing a Brevard County deputy was sentenced to death Friday.

Brandon Bradley, 24, offered an apology for shooting and killing Pill, but Pill's family said the apology was too little, too late...

Bradley was on probation at the time of the shooting and fleeing from another crime. Prosecutors argued that Bradley was trying to avoid arrest when he killed Pill, who was performing her duties as a member of law enforcement.

Court throws out death penalty for man who killed Brevard County Deputy Barbara Pill

The Florida Supreme Court on Thursday threw out the death penalties of two central Florida murderers, including the man convicted of killing Brevard County Deputy Barbara Pill.

In each case, the high court ruled that because the jury did not unanimously vote for the death penalty, the defendant must be resentenced.

I hope that they can still find BB guilty enough for death. I am not sure how the court goes about doing that now that the law has changed. BB showed no remorse for killing Barbara Pill during the trial. IMO
