Oh my gosh this is awful. How many red flags are needed?! They really tried to help him and did the right things and still got murdered… :(

When is Dima's arraignment in a double-murder case?

Online jail records show Dima's arraignment in the double-murder case is scheduled for Nov. 3. Danielle Wallace is a reporter for Fox News Digital covering politics, crime, police and more. Story tips can be sent to [email protected] and on Twitter: @danimwallace.

How horrific! His history and diagnoses would be important. Did they know these things before they adopted him; were they mislead by the orphanage? The victims were apparently just trying to help this kid have a new and caring life. You have to wonder why he destroyed it.

North Port has a very large Ukrainian community and their church is huge. I suspect the church does a lot for the Ukrainian orphanages.

My guess is the medical records for him were incomplete and the unsuspecting parents had no idea of his history.

I live just a few miles away from where this happened. So sad. These people were amazing community members. I did not know the victims or the defendant, but comments on our local fb pages are all positive regarding this couple. I remember they shut down Amazon facility in Venice and was searching the woods and all along I75 in the early morning hours after the murder. I believe his next case management court date is in early March.

I deeply suspect that you are right. I have a relative who is a case worker with a good amount of experience with adopted kids.

She has told me that Ukrainian and Russian orphanages, courts, hospitals etc. are very well known for uhmm..... "censuring" records in order to hide or omit a variety of red flag warning signs.

Rather, both countries really want to facilitate adoptions of children in, well, "certain categories".
