I saw this missing person in a newspaper article posted on Sandra’s thread. I can’t find anything else, no indication of wether she was found or not. She left Belgium and traveled to the US. Apparently she was last known to be alive after calling her parents from a hotel in Key Biscayne, Florida on May 18, 1979 and it was confirmed she checked out then (with no forwarding address). Hasn’t been heard from since.

They fear she may have been kidnapped, in which case I wanted to post here in case she met with foul play. If anyone can find additional information about her, that’d be great!

Copied the OCR text, which always has odd formatting, likely from being scanned, to see if there are any other details to be found.

I will edit the surname, my phone autocorrected it. I hadn't seen the other spelling. When I get back hom I'll do a search of both names in old archives. Thanks!

In 1979, that beachside hotel had to be pricey. I wonder if she wasn’t aware of that initially. Maybe that’s why she only stayed one night. Did someone invite her to stay there and that is how she met her demise? Where was she staying before that?

Yeah, I wonder why she stayed in a pricey hotel. How much money had she left with, if any? And where was she from the time she left Belgium (assuming she arrived shortly after in the US) until the time she registered into that hotel? That's quite awhile.

I looked at different spellings of her surname on newspapers.com and Ancestry with no luck. Not sure where else to look.
