I think about Dontrell and pray for him every day. It's hard for me to have faith in the justice system right now, but I'm pulling for and praying for this sweet little baby.

I'm at a loss for words.

Oh my word. :furious:

ETA -

You can see when she says it and laughing away in the video at the bottom. Not recommended for those with high blood pressure.

When cops questioned Melvin, court documents said, “Melvin described Sierra as a psycho who cuts herself and who plenty of times states; I don’t want this (expletive) baby anymore.”

In turn, the documents said, “Sierra also stated that if her baby is dead, Melvin did it; Melvin is capable to suffocate the baby.”

Court documents revealed Melvin told police the boy might be buried in the backyard of their previous home. The detective’s notes even revealed Melvin drew a diagram of the area.

The documents also showed Brittney Sierra’s mother was receiving food stamps for Dontrell between November 2011 and April 2012, even though Sierra said she hadn’t seen him since July 2011.

" IM FAMOUS" ????????
I'm at a loss for words.

"I'm famous"?
I have MANY words, Schmae. Here's a few...
Repulsive. Disgusting. Horrid. What? Appalling. What?
YOU are famous? There is a dead child. Your child. Yet, unidentified. Yet, the honor of a proper burial. YOU smile, giggle, and mouth words of idiocy today?
Lil Dontrell Melvin is the FAMOUS one here...holding the love and capturing the heart of many. Sweet angel child.

Dontrell Melvin would be two years old now. His birthday was just last week
Sierra is charged with child neglect.

She smiled and even appeared to mouth the words “I’m famous” after seeing television news cameras in the courtroom.
The documents also showed Brittney Sierra’s mother was receiving food stamps for Dontrell between November 2011 and April 2012, even though Sierra said she hadn’t seen him since July 2011.
Where people like that come from?
Now...I'm lost for words. :furious:

I really wish that there was an outrage from the community or from other parts of the world for Dontrell. All I can find is a group on fb with 13 members! Most of the MSM articles don't even get comments anymore.

This "mother" is disgusting and the "dad" isn't any better. I just feel so bad for Dontrell; he was forgotten and unloved in life and it seems like it is the same in his death. I wish that people would get in an uproar like they did for little Caylee. I think Dontrell deserves the same support.

I agree whole-heartedly with you, MissSunshine. An infant, an innocent little human being...missing for 18 months. Loonies blaming each other NOW, without dignity, respect, nor the value of a life created and entrusted in their care. Everybody's screaming NOW, handcuffs and prison cells. Screaming for their own rights...
Justice for Dontrell!

So now the defense starts with the spin. Will there be justice in this case? No wonder "mom" was laughing in court today. She's been told - she is gonna walk. Heard on the local news broadcast that mom's attnys are going to file a motion to have all charges dropped against her.

Aww, I bet her mommy is so proud of her "famous" daughter. Looks like she is a chip off the ole block seeing as mom (Dontrell's grandmother) knew the child was missing and yet claimed food stamps for him when he had long been dead and dumped.

What a sickening bunch and I mean Dontrell's mom, dad and his grandmother.:furious::furious::furious:

WOW! Somebody got mad. Mad, MAD!

I attended my grandbaby's school mass this morning. In between blowing kisses, winks, and peace signs with her (in mass, mind you!)...I found myself kneeling between two beautiful stained-glass windows.
To my right...Jesus driving the money changers from the temple - ADMONISH THE SINNERS - "Well, OK, then!"
To my left...Sr. Frances Cabrini - INSTRUCT THE IGNORANT - "Well, Alrighty, then!"
As luck would have it, the sermon was on FORGIVENESS, 7 X 70 fold! :floorlaugh:

Sorry. It is beneath my realm of reasoning to ever discover understanding or justification in the actions prior, nor now, of little Dontrell's people. Much too sensitive on this case (as little Shaniya Davis')...best to retire from this thread...zipping the lip of fire and spewed venom. Sorry.

God bless ya, lil Dontrell Melvin. Heaven is for real, aint it, buddy!

The exact location was provided by Melvin on his map, the police report said.

After the remains were found police interviewed him in jail.

"Melvin stated that he remembers Sierra telling him, if you want your baby so bad go look for him outside. Melvin remembers walking the backyard while smoking a cigarette but did not see anything out of place,” the officer wrote in the report.

Just reported on our local TV news at noon. The remains found have been positively ID'd as little Dontrell.

They haven't posted the story yet - but it will show up at

www.local10.com

Also saying the mom and dad are blaming each other - the ole I didn't - she did or I didn't he did. From what I'm hearing it was mom - not dad. But we'll have to wait and see how this plays out in court.

RIP little Dontrell - you didn't deserve any of this!

RIP Dontrell .. such a beautiful boy. I'm sorry you had to be brought into this world, a part of such a family. Love and light to your siblings, who will need a world of it now and for the future. :heartbeat:

Just infuriating, I, like tlcya above, really can;t say much because the words I wish to describe these 2 unusual people with would get me banned. I hope babymama enjoys her "fame" behind bars because it looks like she will be there for quite years to come.

The disgust I feel for these two "parents" is overwhelming. :furious: Dontrell never had a chance with these monsters. I wish they had given him up if they didn't want him :( There are plenty of people out there who would've cherished this sweet, handsome man with all of their hearts.

I hope that the damage done in recovery won't blow the whole case. Wouldn't that just be the icing on top of the perpetrators' cake?! Ugh. I wonder why they didn't bring dogs in, figure out where the remains were and do a careful excavation? They knew they were dealing with a potential murder case, and they weren't more careful.

Whether the public has latched on to this tragic case or not, I am here with you guys to see justice for Dontrell. We care. We will not forget him, and all the potential that he had that was torn away from him.

I would think that the police would have used extreme care when unearthing little Dontrell. But even if they did cause some damage, the fact remains that this child was KILLED and dumped in the dirt.

I hope the parents aren't indignant about how Dontrell was dug up because they have NO room to talk, seeing as they dumped their baby like trash an covered him in dirt and left him there.

Even if there is no proven cause of death, it is quite obvious that the parents are guilty of it along with lying, covering up, claiming benefits and gifts for a child that was dead.
