First off the defense presenting the psychobabble from the psych on how damaged AB is from all the abuse she was subjected to by her dead husband that has no voice in this trial. This “expert” is saying DB was a narcissist and even more.Totally demeaning him. Disgusting.

Ouch. The prosecutor “I just have a difference in opinion” and Judge “and I’m going by Florida law” (regarding what is allowed during impact statements like this).

Maybe the prosecutor’s office didn’t review their statements beforehand? In other areas we sometimes see that they’ve been given some help as to what’s allowed to be said so that they can avoid things like this (where defense objects due what is being said isn’t allowed under the law). JMOO

Watching the sentencing. Is this common, the inability of victims to discuss the effects of the actions a convicted murderer has had upon their lives, continues to have upon their lives? The law indicates these guidelines are for capital cases. The judge is sustaining many defense objections which are interrupting the statements. I find this very disruptive to the narrative and extremely cruel to the victims.

Poor AB was under extreme duress, being held against her will, being slapped by DB and other intimidation. All based on AB's testimony. Claims she acted in self defense, even though she was judged guilty by a jury. Defense still saying how innocent ms swimsuit model was justified in killing DB.
