MIAMI – Miami police are searching for an 84-year-old woman who has been missing for several days now.

According to authorities, Edis Lopez Collazo was last seen Thursday in the city’s Allapattah area.

She was wearing a blue shirt and beige shorts.

According to police, Lopez Collazo is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds.

Police said she is considered an “endangered adult.” They did not disclose whether she suffers from any ailments.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the City of Miami Police Department at 305-603-6300 or email [email protected].

Edis Lopez Collazo, who has Alzheimer’s, disappeared from her Allapattah home, near the corner of NW 24th Ave. and NW 29th St., on April 4, her son Eduardo Lopez Hernandez told the Miami Herald. The 64-year-old man said he has been looking for her “everywhere,” even distributing flyers while hoping to find her alive and well.

Lopez Hernandez said his mother may have a scar on her right cheekbone after she fell the day before. He said he left her alone for a few minutes to buy her food — but when he returned, she was gone.

She has difficulties talking to others and may be unable to ask for help or remember who she is, her son noted.

“I don’t know if she has eaten,” he said in Spanish. “I’m desperate”
