Circumstances of Disappearance:
Gillis was last seen in Florahome, Florida on February 25, 1994. She left her residence in the 200 block of Tanner Road at 11:30 a.m. to take her daily walk and has never been heard from again.

Due to her medical conditions, Gillis had a tendency to wander away from home. An extensive search of the area turned up no indication of her whereabouts, and it's possible she met with foul play. Her case remains unsolved.

Eileen was living in Atlanta, GA in January 1987 according to her mother’s obituary. She had siblings that lived in Florahome at the time. I wonder how long she had been living in Florahome once she went missing.

She had a tendency to wander away from home. She may have become confused and tried to go home to Atlanta.

ETA ……Ancestry lists her death as May 26th, 2001 in Fulton County, GA with her burial place being Palatka, FL. Could she have been found or maybe that was the date she was declared deceased but why would it be in Georgia?
