Missing 102-year-old Sarasota Co. woman last seen leaving work | WFLA


The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing 102-year-old woman last seen Saturday morning.

Deputies said Elvera Rogers was last seen leaving work in her blue Hyundai Saturday morning off South Tamiami Trail in Osprey.


Elvera’s car has a Florida tag Y58-HGH.

The sheriff’s office says Elvera is 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 85 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.

My thoughts exactly. Even her photo would not lend me to guess her to be 102. JMO

What does HGH refer to? Excuse my ignorance.
Basically I'm referencing HGH as a hormone people sometimes take hoping it will let them live longer.

Thanks. Afraid I have never heard of it. At 75 years of age maybe I should be taking it. Lol

Yeah, it's actually a thing. I would consider taking it in small amounts, but then again, I don't want my endocrine system out-of-wack... Many people do actually use this as hormone replacement therapy, along with testosterone or whatever suits their desires. Many are careless and irresponsible, however. Too much Human Growth Hormone will make a person's forehead look like Frankenstein... They actually call the effect something along the lines of Frankenstein Syndrome if I remember correctly.
