Isn't it strange when the trial begins the penalty phase it is as if all the attorneys are now on the same page as to guilt it's just a question on how guilty.

Is it not acceptable for the defense to continue to proclaim their client's innocence? Not that everyone in his formative years were POSs and he is a product of that abuse but that this man didn't do this awful thing?

Yes I agree. It is like okay my client is guilty But don't hurt him.

There client was Guilty the whole time, Got it defense team! imo

Maybe we have had the experience of driving and realize we haven't been paying attention for the last few minutes.

Doctor this usually happens when it is something a person does day after day, year after year. I make my bed every morning and sometimes do it while I am thinking about something else and viola the bed is made. But....

I don't toss babies out of a car window in this 'zombie' like trance.

I'm still waiting to hear how the 'freeze' option that I hadn't heard of prior to this doctor is a survival reaction. The doctor says this freeze if similar to the 'deer in the head lights'. Sorry doctor but the deer in the head lights usually doesn't end well for the deer...seriously by the time you see a deer in your headlights it is usually too late to avoid hitting it. IMO this isn't a 'survival' reaction. IMO it is the onset of shock/disbelief/incomprehension and getting smacked by a car if you are the deer standing in the middle of the road.

I totally agree! This is just crazy ---- think all murderers have PTSD anic:
