GUILTY FL - Emanuel Murray, 3 mos, thrown from car, dies, Tampa, 5 May 2009

  • #661
they do get paid--I have seen them paid $500. to $700. per hour

That's why I categorize "paid expert witnesses" with jailhouse snitches. I know, I know, I say this during every trial.

Dr. David was contacted by defenses office and asked to evaluate bite marks.

He was sent models of defendants teeth and photographs of bite marks. And received a report from Dr. Lipton.

Was Dr. Barry Lipton the PT dental witness? Sorry, I forgot his name.

How do we know he re-sized the picture's to the actual size? I am confused where he got his measurements?

Okay I am still listening!

Looked through photographs and report provided by Lipton.

Determined if patterned injuries were actually bite marks. Looked for 2 similar semi circular patterns facing each other. Looked at patterned injuries on Jasmine and Emmanuel. (Please don't tell me Emmanuel was bitten by this monster!)

I'm assuming that Dr. David is going to disagree with Dr. Lipton. But my question is why does it matter exactly?

If McTear did or didn't bite anyone, what does that have to do with him kidnapping Emmanuel and throwing him out of the car?

I believe the physical abuse is critical to the defense case.

Proves McTear was actually there---Defense is trying to state perhaps he wasn't it was someone else

Okay, thank you! I didn't know that the defense was saying he wasn't there.

This is only the 2nd trial I've followed. The first one was Casey Anthony

:banghead: that one was something! That was the trial that brought me here---

LOL! This defense witness doesn't even understand the defense questions. Priceless!

#McTear defense expert says it's possible for people with different teeth to make similar bite marks.

Tampa Bay Times Live ‏@TBTimesLive 4m
Defense's dental expert says skin is an imperfect "production medium." People w/ different teeth can leave similar bite marks. #McTearTrial

So this doesn't prove that McTear isn't the bitter. IMO

Guess I missed the potential bite mark on the baby

Me too, zoey.

And made me go into hiding after the verdict :(

Dr. David said the wound on Emmanuel's chest was NOT a bite mark. Lipton agreed.

The 5 wounds on Jasmine, only 3 were human bit marks, in Dr. David's opinion. Dr. Lipton said all 5 were bite marks.

Regarding the 3 bite marks, in Dr. David's opinion, shoulder bite, can't exclude McTear, cheek bite, can't exclude McTear, neck bite, can't exclude McTear

McTear wanted to hurt Jasmine. Defense wants to prove that he did it by physical abuse and by throwing her child out the car window. Biting is physical abuse.

  • #679
Dr. David did not make his own models of McTear's teeth. He only used the models that were sent to him to make his determination.

I didn't even follow that case, and am probably the only one. Lisa Irwin is what brought me here, that case is close to where I live. Still can't believe to this day that they never physically looked for her. imo
