Deputies search for missing man

Deputies said Eric Michael Scanlon, 29, was last seen at his home in McCoy Sunday evening. Investigators said statements he made in texts were concerning.

He could be driving a blue Mitsubishi Moniteau with a Florida tag Y42-WCU.

Florida deputies search for missing man, concerned for his safety
  • ES was last seen around 4 a.m. on Sunday.
  • Approx 6 p.m. that day, he was heard from via text messages and made statements that have deputies concerned for his safety.
  • He may be in the area of the springs.
  • His last known address is on NE 117th Ave in Ft. McCoy.
  • He is approx 5'8" tall and 150 pounds.
