I have the impression that this guy was either mistaken for someone else who was being sought by that motorcycle gang or maybe he knew something but since he had nothing to do with that kind of people he didn't openly divulge it... but these guys always have people who warn them what's going on or if they think someone could sink them or betray them they prefer to kill them just like that... I don't think he's still alive...

UNSOLVED FLORIDA: Parked at a Payphone - The Erik Patchin Case

It has been nearly 30 years since a Tallahassee college student disappeared on the drive home. His car was found in perfect condition, parked near a local pay phone. 20-year-old Erik Patchin has not been seen since May 24, 1994.
