Manriquez-Ortis — a 42-year-old undocumented worker with an unknown date of birth — was located Thursday afternoon in Laredo, Texas where he was continuing to be detained as of 4 p.m. Although the sheriff did not go into detail, Simmons confirmed that B was also located Thursday, having been found safely inside a car in Foley, Alabama.

Investigators no longer believe a kidnapping incident happened. However, Sheriff Simmons says Manriquez-Ortiz may face charges for events that led up to the girl's disappearance.

This is odd! He's not involved with her disappearance, she's found in another state in a stolen car. Where was that car registered. FL or AL? She's 11. How did mom/dad find out about this "kiss"? Did they see it? I have a little hinky thing going on or at least more questions then answers. IMO

Yes, it's another state . . . but it's not far. It could be as little as 30 minutes depending on the starting point in Escambia County and the ending point in Foley.

Sheriff: Kidnapping suspect built relationship with girl at Escambia County farm

F-S's father fired Manriquez-Ortiz from the farm in north Escambia County two weeks ago after he discovered a relationship building between Manriquez-Ortiz and his daughter. The father allegedly saw the two in a "kissing situation."

I'm so, so confused. She's 11, she didn't steal that car and drive to Alabama by herself. Whether or not she was actually 'kidnapped', something weird is going on and I really hope B is safe.

I hope he gets a lot of years in prison but I know it won't be LWOP sadly. He'll be registered sex offender which is good. If they deport him, he'll just come back. But at least he'll be on the registry, if they catch him when he tries to cross back in.
