Great find, @YaYa_521! If this body is confirmed to be that of Eufrozina Markovican, how tragic for her. IMO, the New York trip might have been the lure that Phillip York used. But, no matter who the body is identified to be, it is tragic that they were murdered by this man.

Absolutely horrible for this victim and her family. Can you imagine his family's surprise to have authorities dig up their backyard then find a body?!? And I'm sure we'll hear how he's an average good ole guy living an average life, yada yada.

On another note, Jackson County LE better start checking cold cases. This is likely not his first time victimizing someone, right? Don't stats suggest most of the time it escalates from pettier assualts, then rapes, etc. up to murder? I guess it's hard to say. We've had so many strange cases here lately.

Eufrozina's NamUs profile returns a permission error. I haven't found any MSM updates for her or the story in Jackson, MS. Can any legal eagle sleuthers find anything about Phillip York's arrest and details about the charges?

Thank you! I found the FB page but couldn't find his mugshot. A web search for his name turned up the article below. The victim is not Eufrozina which (imo) is really good news for maintaining hope for her safe return.

A Coral Springs woman met a man online, but Phillip York had a history: He had served time in prison for stabbing another woman.

Sarah Jane Willard, 29, was reported missing on Dec. 16 after being last seen at her Coral Springs apartment in October.
