Daniel D’Angelo, 53, was cuffed Sunday night after the young girl allegedly woke up to the shirtless creep lying on top of her, caressing her leg and prodding her ear, according to a police report from the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, WFTX reported.

Amazing the father let this man live. Many (rightfully) wouldn't have shown the same mercy.

So was this D'Angelo renting a room from the father with shared community areas or? I mean I understand that sometimes finances dictate taking on a roommate or boarder, but this is a cautionary tale about doing very careful background checks on any potential roommate or boarder, particularly if one has small children in the home. JMO

D'Angelo had moved into the home about two weeks prior.
