Very concerning. I hope the poor girl is ok, something is definitely strange about the story.

Who is this alleged "godmother"?

The family friend's relationship with Felecia is unclear. Police initially said the woman was Felecia's aunt. But that proved incorrect. (The sister) called the friend the girl's "alleged godmother" and a friend of her mother. But (the sister) said she had never met the woman before.

I just saw that too. The sister is very upset in the video. There is more to this story.

I'm trying to stay positive and hope for the best here, but it just doesn't quite add up.

One thing that I keep thinking is a godmother is different to everyone. Some people think it's the person you want to raise the child if both parents passed, and other's think it's a position in which you take the responsibility of the childs religious education. Or as I and my family believe it could mean both.

My daughter's father when she was born was calling everyone he considered to be an 'aunt' but not by blood a godmother until I sat him down and explained it. If it's a situation like that Godmother means absolutely nothing.

I just know I know every single member of my Goddaughters family well. My daughter's Godmother knows my entire family including my long estranged sisters to a small extent. In my world it looks questionable at best.

The fact that the 'friend' would take a little girl to someone elses apartment worries me the most. You never ever bring another persons child around people the mother isnt comfortable with or doesnt know. Seems so wrong.

When I first saw this thread I was really hoping the resident of the apartment came home to find a strange child and took her to turn her in to authorities or something but it's been far too long for that now.

Does Ebony even exist?

This whole story seems a bit fishy to me. The mother was at a hair appointment. What time was this? Sister pretty much raised the girl from birth. (What was mother doing?) A woman not known to the sister picks up the girl to take her "somewhere" (like where?).
At nearly midnight the girl is still in street clothes and not in bed for the night. Friend with the girl stops at someone else's house to take a shower. Whose house/apartment? Was anyone home there? Did the friend have a key to get in? Did Felecia take items to spend the night or was she expected home the same day? Why didn't friend shower at her own home? What was Felecia doing when she went into the bathroom to shower? Why did she need to shower at midnight? I don't think the girl wandered off. I think someone here isn't telling the truth.

This case reeks of BS.

I would never let a child go off with someone I didn't know extremely well. Then I would want to know where they were going and what they would be doing and when they would be back. I'd want a phone number where I could reach the adult and the address of where they would be staying. It seems the sister who let the girl go didn't do much checking things out first before handing the girl over. I wonder if the girl even went with this woman at all? And when the girl was discovered missing late at night, why did her caretaker wait hours to call police instead of calling immediately? Wasn't the apartment door locked at midnight? Have search dogs been called in to sniff in the apartment where the woman took a shower and to follow the girl's trail? None of this story makes much sense.

This set of circumstances is puzzling and alarming...

This is one case where I actually hope she could of ran off because of being a difficult child or even autism (yes I know this doesn't usually have a good outcome either), but I think something went terribly wrong after she got picked up by Ebony (if there is an Ebony). Very strange indeed that she would stop by a friends house to shower & I bet anything that friend was a male and both know what happened!
