With him being arrested in GA (Holly Springs), being taken to Fannin County jail (initially, per the body cam footage), & the mention his wife made of the "lake house" (also from the body cam footage), I looked to see if Leedy owns property in GA.

I did find a location in Blue Ridge, GA that it looks like he (& his wife) bought in 2022. (But, Blue Ridge is in the mountains so I am unsure of her reference to a "lake house".) I blacked out info about the agents & seller as they are innocent parties.

You would think they (the FBI &/or other LE) would have searched both locations (or additional ones, if there are others) for electronic devices. I wonder if he did this only online or has he had contact with young teens in person (who he groomed or directed to carry out his sadistic orders)?

Thanks for the info about the lake. It makes sense. (I guess I was thinking of mountains, not lakes, because Blue Ridge, GA, is the start of the Appalachian Trail.)

I've not read all the posts or links but wonder if Leedy was soon aware of the teen's suicide* in Nov. 2021. If so, did it deter him in any way? I can't tell about timing of the other contacts.
And how did he became aware of the death?

Presumably his communications w ea of the young victims evolved over time, not just one time occurrence. Well, some of them may have had one convo, then realized the danger, and then stopped contact. Or maybe some parents monitored soc media closely enough to put the brakes on continuing. Maybe (hopefully) reported to LE?

Were all communications Leedy had w these victims strictly one-on-one?
Or were some group type chats, vids, or whatever? WhatsApp? or ___?

Did Leedy try to make in-person contact w these victims?
If so, was he successful or not?

Did any of the victims know each other. In-person or only online?

I wonder about these ^ issues but imagine this info may not be revealed soon.

Based on the screen clip post #60, it does have a mortgage and it appears a reasonable down payment. Well, reasonable for their financial situation I'd say. Interesting that the Total Days on Market is 0. That tells me their realtor knew they were looking, spoke to the seller, and made it happen.

List Price $699,900

IIRC: Chauvin and his wife tried to get everything out of his name soon after he was arrested and it didn't fly with the judge.
She like RH's wife Asa filed for a divorce right away.
The courts are wise to these types of shenanigans when it's very likely that civil suits will be coming against the defendant.
So I doubt if Leedy and wife try to get him off of joint assets it won't work.

I read in one of the articles that the teens who were involved with Leedy on chat have been involved with LE during the investigation.

I hope that too and curious if the couple is trying to get their assets out of his name?
They also helped communities with their housing rental shortages for locals by buying up properties for short term rentals to make big money.

SL is scheduled for a jury trial this summer and is expected back in court in May.
He discusses the suicide death of the 13 yr old girl and possible charges against SL.

Even if his wife was completely unaware of his activities, there is no way she could keep a job in any way connected with children. Innocent or not, she’s radioactive.
 
I've been thinking about the question that has been asked as to why SL so far has not been separately charged with the death of the 13yr old girl who committed suicide according to suicide instructions that SL had previously given her?
The feds have evidence of this from her cell phone.

IIRC sometimes prosecutors first charge a defendant with the crimes that they believe they have the strongest evidence for conviction and if that person is convicted they then go for an indictment for the most serious crime which in this case is death.
The other options would be a superseding indictment on top of his current one for the death or they already made the decision to not charge SL with encouraging and showing the young girl how to kill herself?
JW @ Sidebar did say that the death charge could be forthcoming.

Indeed.
When the news broke and LL's employment description was contained in it there wasn't a consensus here that she should resign.
I had called for her to resign and now we find out that she did so within days.
The next question is the divorce issue, will she and for what reasons?
The other issue that we've seen arise is in cases where the couple try and get their assets into the name of the non-accused partner knowing damn well that civil suits will most likely be filed by the victims (parents of the minors).
