The Geek Squad guy must have been like What?? Who calls for a repair person for a shattered screen on a dorm room-like cheap tv? Google tells you that's ridiculous. Buy a new one. JMO.

And the Geek Squad would tell you the same thing over the phone so DA made the appointment and provided vague info knowing WA needed to account for her time when Dan was killed. Toss in the fact Lacasse told her he would replace it and WA declining his offer.

I want to believe that the State has much more that hasn’t been revealed. There were so many new tid bits that popped up during Charlie’s trial that we hadn’t heard before. I still want to know why Georgia kept harping on Harvey’s birthday present. They know something we don’t, and I’m hoping warrants for phone taps were granted after Charlie’s and there’s more. Like more to indict Wendi after Donna’s trial.

So was the TV repaired? Be interested to know the cost of the TV and the cost of the repair. And why multi-millionaires would be buying cheap TVs. And why would CA reimburse DA for a few hundred dollars? Surely she'd just say don't worry about it. There seems to have been too much going on with the TV. Something so insignificant..
I believe Wendi testified that the repair person said it could not be fixed. She also testified that she called her brother Charlie and asked him whether it was better to fix it or get a new one.

LaCasse testified that it didn’t look to him like kids could have done it.

Part of the master plan by the family of criminal geniuses that didn't even tell the actual hitmen to drive a nondescript vehicle and avoid toll roads.

Yeah the 18 minute call!

I don't think they do. I'm thinking a lot of the comms between WA and CA was done through Whatsapp. I think the only way they'll get Wendy is if they get CA or HA to flip on Wendy to save DA.

Could a former friend have heard Wendi or Donna say something about Harvey's present?

I just don't believe that toddler boys could roughhouse enough to break a modern-day TV screen. They aren't that fragile. I think an adult had to purposefully smash it with something.
I think blaming the boys is just another Adelson plan to deflect blame from their poor plan. After all, TV was code for the hit. Maybe now that the sons are teenagers someone could ask them how the TV really got broken.

It’s all so curious, isn’t it? There was something to that line of questioning, but it was left out there dangling even though Wendi answered no to Georgia when she asked if Harvey’s birthday present was the murder of Dan.

And what was the present for Harvey - Paella??

I forget some of the questions -- was she pressing Wendi about who was at the party? ETA: I should go back and look.

This was very good. Only 12:43 long. Worth the watch.

That’s what the Adelson’s say.
And what was the present for Harvey - Paella??
Wendy doesn’t remember what they gave Harvey, but Charlie insists the present was paella - he paid for the catering.

So is there suggestion that the cocktail party was fabricated and didn't exist?
found answer today ... it was Rashbaum on cross of WA that ask her to identify
"party invite", which was found inside her van. He refers to it and comments
he was not aloud to present it. (Not sure if I've explained this clearly)

They took her phone. We know can see even things that were deleted. So far they have only shown two of her texts. They knew they couldn’t use anything she said against her later, so they might not have asked her much. They are keeping their cards close to the vest.

Charlie suggested at trial that the State ask Lincoln how it broke.

They took her phone. They haven’t shown any of what they got so far.
I think she replaced her phone 4 days after the murder and presumably deleted the Whatsapp messages which can't be recovered even with Whatsapp assistance. If there was Whatsapp info, its gonski.

I wonder why they were not allowed to introduce it as evidence? Thank you, jennyjenny. I'll go rewatch this.

Probably could not be authenticated or something.

Don't forget: When Georgia asked Wendi whether the birthday gift was a murder, Wendi did NOT say no. She deflected the question, replying "That's a horrible thing to say".

It's an even more horrible thing to be true.

I can't wait to see the evidence Georgia has. But whatever Georgia has, Wendi did not commit perjury on this question. Clever girl.

Edit: My recall was faulty. Wendi said "Of course not" before remarking that it was a horrible thing to say. So she did not dodge perjury if the State can prove that the murder was the birthday gift.
