Where do they say all this? So far I’ve only heard Donna say that she wasn’t able to talk to Wendi after the verdict. Nothing else.

From what you say, it sounds To me like Wendi may believe that Charlie is solely Responsible for the crime? Where does Donna say this? If Wendi had a role at all, wouldn’t Donna know that?

Mentour Lawyer uploaded the calls. Most of them were CA repeating how he could never get a fair trial in Tallahassee and that he should have "listened to his gut instinct" which I took to mean that he should have left the country when he had the chance. The last call was the one related to Wendy which strangely was not a jail call with CA . . .

Hearing Charlie explaining how he would have wanted to see his son grow up has just made my blood boil. Wouldn’t Dan have wanted the same thing? Even if you believe his outlandish story, he still played a role in Dan’s death. He expresses no remorse or responsibility of any kind. He’s even worse than I imagined.

I think Wendi is going to flip. She is distancing herself from her family and will either claim that she found out after the hit that CA and DA arranged the hit without her knowledge or that she knew about it, but did not want it to go ahead.

The audio was awful and unintelligible in many places. From what I could hear, I deduced that Wendy did not contact her parents on the day of the verdict or after the verdict nor did she go to see her parents in person. This upset them. They also seemed upset that Wendy has not once asked about her brother since his incarceration. In fact, Wendy told her parents that Charlie's problems are his own doing and that they need to stop projecting anger at her as she has nothing to do with his choices and it is not her fault that her truthful testimony with the police and at trial did not fare well for Charlie. It really sounded like Grandma and Grandpa feel they are not as needed by Wendy now that the kids are grown up and that she has distanced herself from them. In fact, it does not sound like she made herself available to them at all after the verdict although they wanted to talk to her about the extradition countries and wills, and cemetery plot and other "business" she would not call them back. Sounded like DA/HA were speaking to her through "George" -- they asked "George" about the boys and specifically if Wendy told the boys about Charlie's conviction. I have no idea who George is.

IMO, important things to keep in mind regarding the phone calls :

• The Adelsons knew they were being recorded
• The Adelsons have been know to lie

Just like the murder plot, these phone calls could be a scripted plot and by saying WA has distanced herself from the family may mean one of them might flip on WA.

Well, here are the highlights thus far:
DA says, "Dan did a great job and you spoke well."
CA says, "I just wanted to be a Dad."
HA says, "I know Charlie." (Please note he repeats those words often.)
Everything else is them insulting the jurors. Making light of WA's book and snidely saying the jurors looked like people who had not read a book in a year.
CA suddenly has no fear of the Latin Kings, never brings them up. Never decries his decision to pay thousands of dollars to the people who were extorting him. Never says, "Wow, not calling the police was the stupidest decision ever."
He still thinks he is smart and everyone else is confused, lying or dumb.
Wash,rinse, repeat.

Thank you. Tried some of this, but between the bad audio and the delusional blaming of everyone else and the incessant victimhood of this clan, I couldn't stomach it.

Go back on there, the audio has been fixed and is much better, the last 60mins or so is enlightening. Clearly a lot of friction between WA and the rest of the family. She is about to throw them under the bus.

She maybe devised that as a plan the day after CA's conviction to pretend she didn't know about donna and Harvey fleeing?

• You are absolutely on the fast track with this!!!...I remember DA kind of making a side comment which sounded so oddly timed. On one of the CA calls, almost under her breath she said, "They haven't beat the Adelson's yet." And then I put that with the necklace WA wore "Never, never give up." DA is a very competitive narcissist who must always win....I'm thinking if everyone on their sinking ship was drowning she would be O.K. with it as long as she was the last to drown.
