It just boggles my mind how messed up the Adelson family is. I do not really know much at all about Harvey but Donna and Charlie are thick as thieves and believe they know what is best for Wendi and the boys. And I thought Casey Anthony's family was a mess!!

I don't even want to think of this case being prosecuted without LR as the State's key witness. MOO
Katie will not be charged and convicted, if not for LR. And now Katie is following Rivera's footsteps as the state witness. I expect Charlie to do the same thing after this trial.

Charlie will never turn against Donna. No way! This is the end of Justice for Dan Markel I fear. I just think if state was gonna charge Donna she would’ve been charged and tried with Charlie. That just makes the most sense to me cause it’s the exact same evidence for both. JMO

Good to see you here @GoJacks...

I've been wondering the same about DR!

And also KM's attorney! I'm still at a loss why any competent defense attorney would not convince KM that the immunity offer was a gift.

How could KM not see she was leaving her children orphans by being stubborn (and stupid)? You'd think it was a no brainer that SG was going down for life after his homie LR-- and eye witness, gave him up as the triggerman who shot Dan dead.

ETA: My money is on LR's appointed attorney Chuck Collins!
I spent all of yesterday wondering how In the world she didnt she take the immunity deal.

Ive been thinking all along CA was paying her big $$ not to flip and she was dumb enough to go along with it.

But finding out CA wasn't, I just don't understand. I can't imagine a world where her lawyers didn't try to talk some sense into her... It's like either one or both of you is locked up for life, might as well just be one of you.

I'm curious to see if her sentence gets reduced at all.

I think at most we might get donna. (Not much hope though)

Seems very unlikely wendi.

They could see how this trial goes. How fast it takes the jury to decide. Maybe they even talk to the jury after of how they viewed the case....and go from there.

I’m curious too because what if she hadn’t testified?

I can’t see Charlie ever flipping on his own family.

Just my thoughts, Katie is the middleman between Sigfredo and Charlie but I think Charlie should also be considered as the middleman in this murder plot between Katie and Donna.

Judge Everett called Rashbaum a “squeaky wheel” today. Of course he added that he was teasing but I feel like it indicates that Rashbaum is not being taken seriously in that courtroom and is being belittled by the judge. Even @katiecoolady has noted how meek and incompetent Rashbaum seems. He doesn’t seem to know how to make objections. He’s way too ingratiating with the state. Smiles A LOT. Raises his voice inappropriately. He seems like a kid playing at being a grown up. JMO

"I sat on a bench last week to watch the boys play. An older woman commented to me on how adorable my boys are and asked "what does your husband do?" I hate this question. I haven't yet said "he doesn't do much because he's dead." But I think it sometimes."

- Wendi Adelson, 10 months after Dan's brutal murder.

CA's attorney dug himself going so hard for the extortion defense. Now how does he even spin these dolce tapes into making any sense with that defense. He must have been thinking they weren't going to get in...

Also is this guy considered a good attorney in Florida? Every day I'm less and less impressed.

Anyway, when's Donnas arrest coming
Donna is next!!! Can’t wait

Does anyone know why she did testify? I'm assuming she was subpoenaed. And if she was and didn't testify what would happen? I'm guessing since she's part of the FL bar it probably compels her.

He seems very inexperienced as a trial attorne. With all the Adelson money why couldn’t they find a better attorney??

I heard Judge Everett call Rashbaum a “Squeaky Wheel” and I had to refresh my memory because it wasn’t a phrase I’ve heard in awhile. I found this. How fitting!

I feel like he has nothing to work with though and was likely told to do this. It’s this or no defense, you know?

I don't know,

I've been thinking the throw buncha $h-t at the wall and hope something sticks..anything to cause some doubt woulda been better.

This defense is terrible. And now he's stuck with it and the dolce tapes (transcripts) came in and it's even worse now.

That being said though, he's just not good at cross. I've seen multiple opportunities to ask some good questions that could atleast get people thinking. Instead he berates terrible points over and over or asks like 50 questions in a row that are meaningless and bore you to sleep.

The STS panel is expecting the State to rest tomorrow, should be interesting!
STS had a great panel this afternoon including the woman (Monica Jordan?) that prepped LR as a State witness. She nailed it-- says it's easy when the witness has no agenda and tells the truth-- isn't making up a story every time they speak.

The TV for 5 after the FBI "tickled the wire" sunk DA. She will be watching quite a bit of free TV down the road...albeit behind bars. Don't be surprised if they break out the cuffs anytime now. The State of Florida is through playing "cat and mouse" with this family. IMHO.

I’m confused about Monica Jordan’s role because I’m pretty certain Rivera only mentioned two lawyers of his who were a father and son team who were there during the proffer. Monica is not a lawyer? Right? She’s a private investigator.
I agree. I believe that once LR accepted his plea agreement, his defense was closed and Collins and his father's engagement with the PDO was terminated and they withdrew as counsel -- leaving Monica as his only liaison to the prosecutors office. In other words, I'm pretty sure Monica is an investigator for the state prosecutor. JMO
