I’m just not used to my family being that caring or concerned about my feelings or stress. Lol. So maybe this is typical family stuff - these communications and concerns about a family member going through a bad divorce. Maybe it just seems extreme because of what they ended up doing.

My family is the same way! We weren’t coddled and were told to “put on our big girl pants and deal with things”

I'm speculating that word of the shooting got to someone at Harvard, who knew Dan, and the person called Wendi to see what was up. Possibly the info travelled from Dan's parents. A guess.

And she said at the police station she had no idea anything had happened. She’d gotten a lot of messages. Wonder if she called Harvard back.

It’s very hard for me to tell if this is Donna manipulating Charlie or if Wendi has such a hold over the family that everybody jumps when she’s upset. These texts between Donna and Charlie seem like two people emotionally held hostage by Wendi. This is nuts! JMO

i'd love to have been in the courtroom to see the jurors read this text. i hope one of the commentators lets us know if anyone's jaw dropped. what more do they need to convict, just a week before the murder DA says "i know you'll come thru" and CA responds "still working" on it.

“We know you’ll come through.”. Very odd thing to say about purchasing a birthday gift. So, they planned this for the weekend of Dad’s birthday, when Wendi would be in Miami with the boys, but it didn’t work out? I thought Luis said that Dan had the kids on that first attempt?

For the sake of everyone here, I’ll try to avoid from sharing this one more time but I just gotta say, dang, at the end of today I’m left even more disappointed that GC offered Wendi any form of immunity, I don’t care how “limited” in use. Or even her parents, if they received any; don’t know they did but we know Wendi did for sure.

Without Wendi there would have never been a “problem”, the Dan she wanted gone totally and entirely and forever from her life. I can only hope Wendi one day can face similar consequences, but judging by GC’s offer of use immunity to Wendi, GC’s offer of some plea to KM before and up to her 2nd trial, and GC’s possible attempt at helping LR avoid FL state prison where he believes he will be targeted and killed - I am just cautiously optimistic

My 4 kids (ages 32 to 21) will be the first to say we are a loving, caring family ... and assure me that the level of enmeshment here is not normal, healthy, loving or caring. Your family, like mine, are most likely just normal ... not physco!!
