He’s starting to adopt his sad, victim demeanor now.

ETA- he’s giving them A/V advice now

Maybe I heard wrong. Both Florida Politics and the Live Blog say that in addition to the checks, he gave her 2k a month cash. Do other people remember him saying that? Why is he claiming 3k a month. Is it because he thinks 400 a week (which probably really was for insurance purposes) is too little for extortion?
Yes I did hear him say he met with KM every month and gave her 2k in cash along with the checks.

It was Katie who said the N word. I was mistaken.

So THIS really is the defense?

Katie to Sigfredo: "Hey, I know a family that is so upset with their daughter's ex they offered him a million bucks to let their daughter relocate with the kids to Miami, but he turned them down."

Sigfredo: "No way! They got that kind of money laying around?"

Katie: "Yeah! That's really crazy huh?"

Sigfredo to Luis: "Hey, Katie knows this family who has a million dollars. They're upset with their daughter's ex too."

Luis to Sigfredo: "I've got an idea. ... Let's murder the guy they are upset with and ask them to give us a million bucks."

Sigfredo to Katie: "Hey Katie. We murdered that guy. Go get us the money?"

Katie to Charlie: "Man, I'm sorry about this, but I guess I talked about your family problem too much. Now you have to give me money so I can give it to the violent people who did this. But you gotta promise me you NEVER talk about this again -- not to me --- not to anyone. "

All it takes is one juror to buy this nonsense.

If SG's thinking was "This family has $1 million, and I want it!", there are plenty of ways to get at it that would be much simpler and easier than killing someone the family doesn't like in the hopes that they can extort them for the $1 million later. Recall that LR described himself in his initial proffer as a "jack boy" whose specialty was robbing drug dealers. I have no personal experience as a robber, but I assume that if you're good at robbing drug dealers, you can probably transfer your skills to robbing dentists.

I can't recall exactly but it was definitely in a transcript we saw during Corbett or Sanford ( At this stage, the trial days are blurring into one for me!)

ETA
Janssen says SF used the N word and that CA used word ' ghetto'
John Singer has just said that he now thinks Georgia's cross exam will go into next week
Wasn’t someone saying you never want him to have the weekend to prepare for cross?

This audio issue is kind of crazy...

Unrelated to the fool on the stand, but I must say I really enjoy this judge.

Someone on the YouTube comments is asking why Sig would do a murder for Charlie if he hated him so much and attacked him outside a restaurant. So, yeah, people believe different things, definitely. Katie said Charlie didn’t know it was Sig, and Sig didn’t know who he was murdering. And I think the confrontation happened not at the restaurant but in the driveway.

Hard to keep all the counter facts straight...JMO.

Smart, unflappable, and great demeanor.

All it takes is one juror to hold out. I am sure those highly paid jury consultants had a great amount of imput.

Rash doesn’t want the transcripts shown again.

How many times does she have to say she'll talk to him tomorrow and he keeps asking questions about that it is? Geez!

If they had any evidence we'd be at the airport... If they had any evidence we'd be at the airport...

I’m dying.

He knew his mom was being extorted after the 3rd phone call. Lol

The reason for the reminder about cash on the call is probably because if you are earning a lot of money via cash payments and not reporting the income you need to find ways to spend the cash that won't be obvious in an IRS audit. Restaurants are a good way.
