I wasn't able to confirm that there is no a/c in the Columbia Correctional prison (which opened in 1992) or its annex (which opened in 2004), but if you are correct, Charlie must be absolutely miserable.

Are you sure there is no a/c in Columbia Correctional annex (which opened in 2004)? It seems that there is no a/c in the prison, but I am not sure where Charlie is housed. Hopefully we will soon be able to clarify. If there is no a/c, Charlie will be absolutely miserable.

Indeed, eye opening! Here is what crossed my mind after watching Mentour Lawyers video last night. We learned that Katie introduced the medical healer to her sister-in-law. The majority of the 1.2 million that was embezzled was funneled through this medical healer and Katie’s fingerprints are all over it and it seems likely that she got a piece of that pie - where there is smoke there is fire. I find it very interesting that DeCoste represented Katie’s brother as well. This video gives us a lot to ponder. Her brother was in IT and (if I’m not mistaken) the money was never recovered? Love to know more about the money trail for the all the legal fees for Katie, her brother and her sister-in-law.

After listening to this video, I can’t help but think that maybe Katie was the one that initially suggested the plan to Charlie and was the true mastermind behind the plan to murder Dan. The one single 'comment' that doesn’t line up with this theory is Lacasse’s testimony that Wendi told him that Charlie looked into the hitman option in the summer of 2013 which would predate Charlies ‘relationship’ with Katie, BUT he could have had the timeline wrong.

Maybe Katie had a far larger role in this sinister plan than we all believe and was the true mastermind from start to finish. If that is true, it would explain why she rolled the dice and didn’t take a plea deal. She is probably more intelligent than we give her credit for and if she did have a larger role than just the ‘middle woman’, she would have known her chances in court were far better than telling the truth.

Charles Adelson with the most obscure 2 motives got caught, tried, and convicted first. Next, Donna Adelson with 3 motives got indicted and awaits trial. The most clearly motivated alleged unindicted co-conspirator Wendi Adelson is still free, flashing anger and laughing out loud in court!

Their common motive is that they hate individually and collectively Dan Markel much, to the point of routinely calling him “Jibber” or “Gibber.” So, which one is this motive, “Jibber” or “Gibber”?

Their common homophone was introduced by Donna Adelson and used by the Adelson family members to refer to Dan Markel as a contemptuous nickname. I’m not suggesting the embezzlement was in anyway related to the Markel murder so the fact that it started in 2012 and predates Katie’s ‘association’ with Charlie is irrelevant to me. It’s just an example of another nefarious and illegal operation that Katie was likely in the middle of. Although there is no proof she was in the middle of the embezzlement, to me it seems like a reasonable theory IF it is true Katie introduced the medical healer to her sister-in-law. I’m suggesting Katie is more intelligent that we give her credit for - she can be intelligent (or more intelligent than we think) and still have the same life struggles that many have, being intelligent doesn’t necessarily guarantee financial success. Katie is a professional scammer and knows how to use and manipulate people and I can certainty see her role in Dan’s murder being much greater that I initially thought after watching this video. Just one sleuth’s opinion.

apexperience, Incredible posting ...can I just call you APEX...for always reaching the highest points of clarity and refocusing on the details. After 8 days of listening to DR drone on with convoluted scenarios, I am reminded, "a drowning man will clutch at a straw." Can't quite figure out KM...she could have walked. CA could have stayed over seas..maybe they are more alike than we think...short term thinkers who can never see the big picture and getting their thrills from the short con.
