This is really something to highlight: End-to-end encryption means that your messages, calls, and shared files are encrypted on your phone and can only be decrypted on the other person's phone. No one else, not even WhatsApp, can read or listen to them.
Didn't CA ask his attorney something along the lines of, "Did you get the phone?" or "Do you have the phone?" Is that worth talking about any more or just put it on my list of more strange comments? Also, WA was still being notified by alarm company for events at the Trescott house right? Did that system have an acoustic sensor
Here is another observation I have brought up multiple times and I never have seen anyone else make this point or comment on it. Yes, Jeff mentioned there was something strange about ‘that day’ (Friday) to Wendi. He referenced it twice in his police interview. She told him she to be back in Tallahassee early on Friday to pick up the kids when they were planning a vacation AND she asked if he’d be around on Friday during the famous parking lot conversation after their yoga session.

According to Jeff, Wendi was seeing multiple guys during their relationship and I get the feeling he was probably correct. Do you think Jeff knew about the stock the bar party? I don’t think he did – did it ever occur to anyone that the stock the bar party was what was so strange about that day to Wendi? She had to be in town for the party and maybe she didn’t want Jeff to know about the party? Maybe Daniel Sack or another one of Wendi’s love interests was going to be there? Maybe the party was the reason she had to be back early on Friday? Maybe she wanted to know if he was going to around Friday when she had ‘a deep interest’ in his travel plans that weekend because she was thinking about leveraging his babysitting services?
I don't think so.

I really messed up. Go figure. It should have been 2 different posts. And of course too late to erase.
Acoustic sensor or notification when garage door opens?

I believe Jeff has said that she told him she needed to cancel the trip sometime in early June, and that he found it odd she canceled it at that time, because the trip was not for another month, and because it had been planned for a while.

From my recollection of her police interview, if I recall correctly, W told the cops she was notified the alarm went off by the alarm company because she was on the list of people to contact; I believe she said another friend of theirs had also been called, and I believe she said this was on the Thursday before the murder.

No, because it would have made her look really bad to all the friends JL and WA had, for her to go to a party with DS, and there would be no intimacy there, esp. with her kids, so I’d say she would much prefer DS one on one in an “afternoon delight” if JL was correct in his suspicions. But good try kid! And remember anyway, Sachs already moved away in May. Right?

The whole TV repair alibi is such a great source of unintentional comedy.

When contriving an alibi, the more detailed and complicated you make it, the less convincing it is.

You have to laugh when you think about how (1) Mommy needed to make the appointment from 7 hours away, (2) Mommy needed to send a written communication to WA to remind her that the Geek Squad was coming to “repair the broken TV in your living room”, (3) WA needed to call CA to have an 18 minute conversation about whether to fix the TV or get a new one, and (4) WA needed to stall the repair guy to drag out the length of the appointment even though it was obvious the TV was not repairable.

This reminds me so much of the Seinfeld episode where George and Elaine needed to create a fake alibi so George could meet Marisa Tomei. They couldn’t just keep it simple and leave it at George and Elaine meeting up for coffee. They had to add silly details: the meeting was so that George could give Elaine relationship advice. Elaine’s fake boyfriend was named Art Vandelay. Art Vandelay was an importer exporter. Art and Elaine were arguing about whether he should focus on importing or exporting. Unsurprisingly, these weird details were totally suspect to George’s fiancé and the alibi fell apart when she asked the simple question that George and Elaine gave separate answers to: What does Art Vandelay import and what does he export?
1. The appointment was made from Donna ‘s phone while Wendi was there.
2. Yeah, she was differentiating rooms. But didn’t we find out the other TV didn’t work? Didn’t JL say at trial it wasn’t working?
3.She first claimed at KMs trial she called bc she was upset that Dan wanted to pick the kids up and bring him to the pool. Then that morphed into inclusion of the Fixing vs buying a new TV
4.Yeah I wonder how she was able to keep him there so long. She did hint at Charlies trial that there was more than one person there? I think so.Did anyone else catch that?
My husband loves Seinfeld..

Many of Wendi’s ‘actions’ and decisions seem weird or strange without knowing the details of what Wendi actually knew at the start of the Isom interview. I have always said the fact that she mentioned Charlie’s joke about hiring a hitman to Isom and told Jeff that Charlie seriously looked into hiring a hitman literally days before the murder, does not make sense to me if she were directly involved. I know the popular theory is she was using ‘reverse psychology’ but that would be a reckless decision if she were directly involved especially when the stakes are so high. Maybe she got wind of the plan somehow and her family wasn’t aware she knew and she decided to drop a few breadcrumbs? To me, that seems more likely.
I happen to think, esp. what we now know about JL after the unredacted video, that Jeff was in many ways Wendi’s confidante and counselor. He put up with more than most men would, just for a glimmer of hope that she would love him, even though she wasn’t giving him physical attention (By his own words) and was cheating on him.
I really think Wendi KNEW how much JL loved her and bc of that she felt comfortable telling him something that may have been eating away at her. She had no one to talk to about it. So in a moment of weakness (Maybe she gave him some affection that night, or had a few glasses of wine),and she said “Can I tell you something confidentially?” and she knew it wouldn’t go further because a working therapist keeps secrets…I think it was really something she was struggling with.
Thats why I make out of it.

Right, if I’m remembering correctly.

The point of my comment was missed. I’m suggesting Jeff’s vibe on why that Friday (per Jeff ~ ”something was strange about that date”) had meaning to Wendi may have been because she had to attend the stock the bar party that evening and he was not in her plans that night. The question remains – did Jeff know about the party? I say no, because if he did, it would have come out in his interview. He would have brought up the fact that she didn’t invite him to the party. I used Daniel Sachs potentially being there as an example, it could have been any random guy that she knew was going to be there that she might have been interested in. Jeff listed 8 or 9 guys that he suspected Wendi had sexual relationships with – that’s a VERY long list of men for a woman with 2 kids that had been divorced for less than two years. Based on what we learned from Jeff, its not a leap to think there was a guy (or victim) that she knew was going to be there that she might have had an ‘interest’ in.

An alternative explanation, speaking generally and hypothetically, one might bring up something like that in an effort to plant a seed of suspicion on someone else.

Jeff said, if I recall correctly, she was not opposed to seeing him during that week, and she suggested at various points a trip to St. Augustine and a “staycation.” He also said she knew he was supposed to leave on a trip on that Friday, the day of the murder and the day of the stock the bar party. So, in my opinion, it would appear that he would not be able to attend that party with her, and she knew that.

I think he didn’t know bc she knew she wasn’t going. So why mention it?

Per Jeff, if I recall correctly, she knew he was leaving town that Friday, the night of the stock the bar party, that’s something he’s testified to many times, he even has said that on the Tuesday before the murder she asked him whether he was still going to be leaving that Friday. It would appear to me that he could not have attended that party with her even if he knew about it, and she knew that.

But that invite probably came before he made plans to leave to Tenn., because he went bc she broke up with him that Monday. Otherwise he wouldnt have left and he may have gone to St Augustine with her.

Yes which is why Wendi was having coffee with him that day that JL caught them together. It was a “goodbye coffee”. Can you imagine the series someone is going to make out of this story?

Crazy hey. The TV repair was so convoluted because the Adelsons's thought they were the smartest in the room and to get away with this crime they had to have a convoluted plan. It exemplified their superiority, their intellect. Evil genius! When in reality all they had to do was keep it simple. All WA had to do was go to a shopping centre and browse the shops while the hit went down, captured by CCTV.

the 18-minute call that AM from Charlie was when Wendi initially found out there was a plan to murder Dan.
I think this call was CA trying to calm WA down. They knew DanM's approximate movements that day i.e dropping the kids off around 9am, but they had no idea he would go to the gym. So the hit was supposed to happen after the kids were dropped off, however instead of turning left, he turns right. CA phones WA to let her know, she freaks out is upset, tries to keep Best Buy guy there.

Wasn’t that the second time the trip to see his parents was cancelled?
