A case management conference is just what it sounds like, a status meeting. The case isn't over as Donna hasn't been sentenced yet. The defense asked for a pre-sentence report on counts 2 and 3. (Why? I don't know. She's going to get sentenced to life on the first count since it's first degree murder. The other counts are practically irrelevant.)

I believe the report needs to be done by the Department of Corrections, and it takes a while to complete. So, in October they are going to reconvene and check on the status of the report. If it's done she will likely get sentenced at that time. If not, they'll set another date a few weeks later.

The other counts don't matter unless Count 1 is overturned. Probably a longer shot than having Donna testify and face cross examination by Georgia and her notebook with 100 tabs.
