Donna was 100% involved and clearly guilty. Am I the only one that thinks Fulford is doing a decent job in her closing arguments? She is about ½ way through and is working with bad facts, but I think she is doing a fine job challenging the evidence.

I still think the jury get this right, but so far I think Fulford is doing a great job.
Agreed.

I’ve never witnessed such a bizarre attorney, in every way shape and form
The list is so long, so odd, so off putting

Just put it back on….is she done?

Jackie asked " for a moment"....then a quick side bar and bathroom break.
She's not done yet.

Two biggest mistakes the defense made in my opinion:

1) They should have never argued Donna & Harvey didn’t stop at Charlie’s house on the way up to Tallahassee – the meaning of “outside your house’ will not fool the jury. If I’m a juror, and only had information presented in this trial, I’d have a hard time getting passed this fact.

2) Missed a big opportunity to impeach Katie’s testimony about Charlie telling her Donna ‘washed’ money. In Charlie’s trial she said she ‘thought’ Donna washed it because Charlie didn’t keep cash at the house. Now all of a sudden her testimony is Charlie told her. Katie is not a credible witness and that would have hammered that point home.

My prediction is that the jury will have extended discussion on the top count, resulting in a verdict late Monday or Tuesday of Guilty on all counts.

I 100% see overwhelming evidence to convict Donna on all counts, but I see myself the exception on any social media which is completely dragging her. I agree. I think she's doing just fine. She's not great, but I think she's doing what any defense attorney could possibly do with all this evidence. It's way too hard to overcome, but as we always say, all it takes is to convince one to hang the jury.

The defense was always going to be that the state can't meet their burden to show my client was directly involved before the murder. She is trying her darndest. Of course, now Georgia will have to play whack-a-mole to go through all the things JF said in the defense's closing that were wrong , or half truths.

Omg how did yall listen to the defense attorney and her whining voice? I didn't get through the first 10 minutes.

Ok Jackie brought up the fleeing to Vietnam….now watch Georgia showing Donna being arrested trying to board that plane….and not wanting to give up her phone, had to be pulled away from her.

Yes Jackie, PLEASE sum it up!!

Showing that video would not be worth the 3 minutes it would take, in my opinion.

Well that defense closing was a lot better than I expected. That might only be the case because my expectations were very low to start with. I could almost buy it if it were not for... the staggering consciousness of guilt by DA.

I'm behind in the stream, did the judge say how long he'd let them deliberate tonight?
I didn’t hear him say anything about that. Went back a few minutes ago, but lawyers were still reviewing jury paperwork when I cut off the video.

Okay, thanks. I'll get to the end eventually and see if anything is mentioned.

I kept up with all the other trials in this case but have not been able to watch Donna's. I hope the jury finds her guilty - shes clearly involved. This case has always stayed with me. RIP Mr. Markel you and your children deserved so much better.

I'm missing the prosecution's rebuttal on CourtTV (now), and I don't see any comments about here yet--how did it go?

I didn't see it either and i've been watching. Did they NOT rebute?
I will say, Defense did better on closing than i expected.... I think she should be guilty on all 3, but i don't know if they will agree on the Murder 1. Court TV JUST popped up and i think the rebuttal is starting JUST now. verdict watch is at 56 mintues.

According to STS, there will be at least a a 30 min warning when verdict is reached.

They also said Judge Everett has had a verdict as late as 11:45 pm.

No telling how late this jury will stay.
