I’m glad Mrs Markel brought up Donna’s destruction of her other children. Whether they appreciate the facts or not, she destroyed the lives of her entire family.

When they both reach 18, they can change their last name back to Markel on their own if they wish to do so.

Judge Everett: I will adjudicate Donna Adelson guilty at this time. The sentence will be imposed at a later date."The appropriate screening needs to take place (at the jail) where the defendant is in an area where she isn't subject to self harm," Judge Everett said.
And with that, the court is in recess. Sentence will be formally imposed on October 14. Donna Adelson leaves court convicted of killing Dan Markel, conspiring to do so and in fact soliciting his murder.
