Now that there has been so many conversations between Donna and Charlie played in court, (some were regular conversations and others were the hushed tones in the conspiracy), if Donna gets on the stand they will be able to match her truthfulness and lies to her tone of voice because it has been so clear at this trial.

Sgt Corbitt is such a good witness.

The stuff retrieved off of Donna’s phone, searches, texts etc. and all those (to do) notes to prepare for their leaving the country in her planner are the icing on the cake.
She’s cooked.

Also, the defense going on about their 90 day visas….visas to their countries can be extended.

When the sgt was asked by defense about Donnas visa and what her visa reflected, I wish he would have said ‘that it’s what a correct visa looks like but I need proof that it is in fact Donna’s’. Just an opportunity to frustrate the defense.

OMG, Georgia and Sarah absolutely buried Donna today. Just one after another after another. Great finish by the State.

What about hearing Harvey’s name today?!? If that is true it’s a problem because it links him to the deception.

Donna told her Sunshine buddy that she could get drugs for her. When the snitch was asked how she would get the drugs she said through Harvey.

Agree it was incredible! I love when the defense would ask their last question to create doubt to whoever was on the stand and how Georgia ran with it.

“It’s true that you haven’t seen any real evidence to this?” Then Georgia would come in and say but you did see this right”? I’m paraphrasing but she did that twice today and it was clever. She immediately flushed out what the defense said. I’m really impressed with her ability.

Some screenshots of the note that Donna gave to her fellow prisoner. It's a script that she was supposed to use. The prisoner was supposed to claim that KM confessed to the double extortion plot when they were locked up together.

Trying to listen now (am so far behind on viewing) and thankful for the Sleuths who can continue to keep updates! You guys cover so much, interject explanations, remind us of things we missed and
provide the color commentary needed to keep from yawning when JF speaks, speaks, speaks, speaks,
speaks zzzz
zzzzzzzzz ugh I I started to nod off just remembering it. Hopefully her incredibly long and boring explanations are making her client happy... because I think she lost the jurors interest 3 days ago.

I kept saying the same thing as I watched her. 85% of the time, I did not even understand where she was going with her questions. In addition, she seemed to be reinforcing moments that were not helpful to Donna.

I'm a bit surprised that the Adelson's retained her. She's underwhelming (to say the least). Wasn't she a former judge? Her questions lead to no where and she seems distracted (forgetting her train of thought). Looking forward to Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. Maybe she'll pick up the speed a little and impress us!

I’m surprised that Donna didn’t hire the best representation. JF was forced to step down.

Oh pleez…..now Jackie is trying to suggest that Donna and Harvey were planning on coming back from Vietnam for their grandchild’s bar mitzfah.

Just listen to that extended non hang up call….if you were a juror, would you believe that?
Well Donna already stated "you can bury me in the dress I was going to wear for the bar mitzfah..." so no intention of going.

Does anyone get the feeling that Donna may try to pin this on Wendi?
No. DA has an unhealthy and toxic bond, almost obsession with her daughter. She has put her up on a pedestal and would crawl over broken glass (or commit murder) to help her daughter. If WA wanted to go out for a night, DA and HA would drive up from Miami to babysit. The infantilization of WA was insane and also the way they injected themselves into her life.

When she was asked, she actually said the name of the dermatologist doctor buddy of Charlie with a question in her voice.

@cathyrusson

Texts between Donna Adelson and Wendi when the verdict came down in Charlie's trial: Donna: There's a verdict. Wendi: I love you very much. Call if you feel like you can.About 15 mins after the verdict was read: Donna: Your brother protected you for years. Now you are not guilty. Your lawyer took very good care of you. You can bury me in the dress that I bought for lincoln's bar mitzvah.

I don't really understand the context of DA's text message. Why the bitterness?

<<<The five-page notice of formal charges filed with the Florida Supreme Court Tuesday cited several instances of alleged inappropriate conduct in 2012 and 2013, including publicly opposing a candidate for elected office, using her position to influence attorneys and helping the son of her significant other in a domestic battery case.>>>>

Not too honorable...maybe JF sold herself as having "contacts". Terrible attorney in this case. imo

Her questions had little to do with helping her client.

And she was late to court and held it up today bc she took a sleeping pill the night before. Wow.

Maybe it was a different question because I heard the name Harvey. I could be mistaken though because I watched most of it today and could have brain fog.

A real gem she is. She reminds me so much of Amber Heards attorney, she was a disaster. Goofy, air-headed and clueless about even the simplest of things. She accused the TMZ guy of wanting to testify so he could be on TV! Not realizing that he had been on TV before.

I’m surprised that Donna would hire someone like this. Donna could use her behavior for an appeal.

Back to the jail house coach to lie letter.... juxtaposed to the CA testimony. Now, we are seeing the texting info.....eviserating Charlie's story, the jail house coach to lie, and new What's app info. Donna is cooked. And, there is communication between Wendi and Donna after the verdict--- Wendi was taken care of and bury Donna in the dress for one of the kid's Bar Mitzvah. And, a plan to leave the US. More than cooked.
Stick a fork in her, she is done!
