So, Dan's sons are approximately 14 and 15 years of age. Is Wendi going to spin their grandmother's conviction? I wonder what was told to them about their Uncle Charlie? Are they being shielded from the truth? If they are in school, kids talk.

JMO.
Makes me cringe to think of what that filthy family has drummed into those boys heads. JMOO

She also had a band-aid on her nose for awhile.......If she smashed her nose it could cause her eye or eyes to look like a black eye.
Clearly too many reports with same info..tripped on curb and fell hitting middle of face...no reason to question.

Someone said the planner also had the vehicle ID number. VIN is necessary for insurance and sometimes for registration renewal. Definitely needed to sell a car, for example after the death of the owner.

Much as I hate to say it, I think this item does not prove pre-planning of murder.
It would seem that DM's car would be part of his estate which WA was not in charge of since they were divorced. If the car was sold, the Markel's would be responsible for that if I'm not mistaken. JMOO

it was posted above and she is far too excited. about as she calls it "the wild ride" and offering her opinion on Wendy...she now thinks she is very very legal savvy. I think this is her 15 min of fame.
I honestly think it's just her way of decompressing and processing her experience as a juror. I wouldn't do it so publicly myself, but I do think it's just a generational divide. For a lot of young people, talking about their life experiences in an online video seems to be just second-nature.

And really, nothing she said about Wendi is all that different than the sort of posts you'd see on this thread.

The juror foreperson it seems couldn’t wait to get on TikTok to talk about her experience in DA’s trial. She even indicated she might have to do another video about it. Encouraged everyone to send any questions they may have re jury deliberation. Unreal!!

It appears their minds were already made up prior to deliberation.

Check out this article from Tallahassee Democrat:

Juror tells all: Jury foreperson in Donna Adelson's trial speaks out after conviction

This really concerns me. Are we going to get another group like one or two in the Murdaugh trial? As I recall jurors enjoying fame started there before the whole BH issue. OMO.

If I were on this jury I would be furious that one person broke the silence. Not fair to those who would rather not have it discussed but sounds like you can’t do anything about it.

Added: After read TD article it does seem that the jury their roles seriously as did the forewoman. Call me an old fogie! Does everything have to go into social media? Just seems risky to talk about what happened in there. Hopefully none of them will get into details.

My guess only: After the murder from Wendi or from Donna herself in her trip to help move. Or from the police who would have held the car for a while as evidence. It's my understanding that the car info was in the back of the planner not on a pre murder date. I could be mistaken.
Back of the planner for easy reference. None of that “Now where did I write that down?”

yes for sure I agree. she is free to say whatever she thinks at this point and her description of the deliberation process seems like it was very complete. It is a generational divide.

Wasn't the boys' last name changed to Adelson? If so, maybe, it's time to change their last name back to a respectable name like Markel.

My guess would be that WA and HA would have to be removed from the equation and the two boys in agreement for that to happen. As I have said before, no telling what the boys think of the Markel family and their deceased father, and if they would even want that name at this point. So sad. JMOO

She definitely had a quick tantrum reaction of anger but then remembered to pretend to cry.

She is a defiant woman. I wish she would have stayed in anger mode longer for all to see.

I suspect the next person that she would like to murder is Judge E. She knew internally that he had her figured out. She will probably say that she needs a new trial because the judge was against her.

i think one is. 15 or 16....I think they know a lot....you can't keep this from boys that age.
I’ve been wondering how much they really would know.

If there were so many people in Tallahassee who hadn’t heard about the trial (so no change of venue was required and they were able to seat a jury), why would their uncle and grandmother’s arrests and trials be a news topic in Austin, Texas, or Colorado (wherever they live now)?

Ugh. There should be some regulation about a juror speaking out. I realize freedom of speech prevails but I wish there would be something in place. It’s always the wannabes that want fame and attention. It’s so unattractive.
When a juror talks this quickly and freely and is this excited I get concerned they will say something to put the verdict and process in jeopardy. I am sure the defense is watching her carefully.

they no doubt have laptops and see. social media and world news...this is a big story and this is their grandmother and uncle now both in prison for murdering their father. I sort of doubt life is too normal living with Wendy and the boyfriend.

I agree. Sometimes karma is serviced cold! Wendi thinks she is the smartest in the room, we'll see....

Georgia was great, but I hope Sarah is also getting some love and accolades. They are a GREAT team.
Yes @ShadyLady ….. and I am also remembering what IMO was an odd police interview with WA shortly after DM was slain. I found that interview technique, the presence of another individual (friend or acquaintance of WA was it?) and the entire interview surreal. And both of those present were answering questions IIRC? And for each other and on top of each other speaking or responding? Or interrupting or correcting each other I think? Always wondered why it was allowed to proceed in that fashion? SMH.

I realize sometimes one just wants someone talking, but it seemed unusual. Maybe some of those allegiances and individual’s relationships will change or wane - in light of the multiple convictions in this case. And something will result from that? And maybe some small kernel(s) in that interview will add just one or more little piece to the puzzle? Or contribute one more coincidence needed to pursue other charges? MOO

Honestly, I never thought they’d get DA. Wendi’s arrest is on my Christmas list. 🎁🎄

She better travel private so that she isn’t snagged away at a commercial airport like her mother. She has the children and that would make her stand out in an airport.
Adelson, Adelson and Adelson boarding passes would be a red flag.

It wouldn't matter. When flying internationally, you have to provide the government with the names of all passengers prior to departure. That's true for private flights as well as commercial. If she's flagged in the system, the government will know.

Right. We saw what happened in the Murdaugh and Read trials. It’s too risky at the expense of a true and just verdict.

But DM left the position with a law firm to become a professor several years before he even met WA. If DA wanted a millionaire for her daughter, it should have become obvious it wasn't going to be DM.
No Wendi was doing an internship in the summer in DC and that is when they met in person for the first time.
