If they are going to arrest her, the local police could detain her while anyone else is enroute. Of course she will lawyer up.
I would think with her connections she will have a heads up and turn herself in.
Now Harvey they will need to sneak attack in case he has a vacation planned.

I would have thought most companies would do integrity checks...

I still remember when Charlie's trial or Katie's trial was happening, Wendi mentioned that she was unemployed because of this situation. Maybe after Donna's trial she's unemployed again 😁😁😁😁

Yeah I highly doubt she's working as an immigration lawyer. She's a fantasist and a pathological liar. I doubt she's even a competent lawyer.

View attachment 622254This is all I could find. If you remember if it was early or late in the episode, I can give it another shot tomorrow.

So that is tape from Dan's house and that's blocking people from travelling down Trescott going from South to North, yeah? WA was travelling North to South. We don't know where that tape was do we?

Her name changes, especially her first name, will seem odd to a jury. It's done, but not commonly. She has the excuse of avoiding association with her convicted relatives. Still, if you hide your name, what else might you be hiding?

That's what she needs a man for.

Anyone can declare themselves "self-employed" even if they have no clients or zero revenue coming in. I would counter-argue that in today's US political environment, lots of folks are needing immigration guidance and I'm sure if she wanted to, WA could find some clients in that area, especially since she speaks Spanish.

Wendi was Donna's golden child, for whom she did everything, even killed her ex-husband. So that Wendi could return to Miami to pursue a career and earn millions. Unfortunately, no career, only looking for men, short-term jobs.

I remember she said she IS an immigration lawyer but... I don't remember WendiJill saying she worked as one for realsies in Texas???

Edit: that said, the boys are now teens so they likely don't need as much hovering over so she COULD be at an office full or part time without hiring a nanny.... but somehow I'm doubting MOO..... any legitimate organization wouldn't touch her with a ten foot pole unless she's just volunteering/working for free. I SPEAK SPANISH....IT'S PRONOUNCED PA-EH-YAH...

For those who don't watch real network TV (or if you're also waiting for the Geek Squad for a possible repair), you can listen to the most recent dateline- just the audio- on Spotify.

She's still using the name Wendi Adelson with the Florida Bar and the Florida Secretary of State.

It's a violation of Bar rules to not keep the former accurate and a criminal violation to make false statements in corporate filings. Whatever she thinks of her family, it has never seemed like she wanted to lose her license.

So I stand corrected-

Fabulous Georgia:
"How are you employed?"

Unindicted Co conspirator Wendi:
"I'm an immigration attorney."

So.... this is under oath - so I guess she IS employed somewhere in Texas (which to me implies for actual pay.) If you're volunteering you're not "employed". But I don't trust this completely & could see that WendiJill is actually just volunteering and thinks of herself as being employed. It's not like she needs the money.

When WendiJill uses that "NOH"- to me it sounds so deceptive.... it's like some mid-west accent or something- like whenever she says "NOH... I DOHNT think so"... to me it sounds like she's full of it. MOO. 🐄

I see her in good standing on the Florida state bar website but... nothing in Texas. How can she work as an immigration attorney in a state where she isn't licensed? Or are there loopholes? I don't know how attorney licensure works....

Edit:
from Maryland state law library ... it seems since immigration law is federal, you can practice in any state.

The only truth from Wendi's mouth is that her brother wanted to hire a hitman.

Yeah, I vaguely remember something about when Dan was up for Tenure at the university in Tallahassee that they didn't want to hire her as well.

I mean idk how this works when you're a highly respected professor with an impressive CV with a wife who has a law degree who also wants to "work".... part of me thinks that administration would be more than happy to offer her some sort of job at the university as a gesture of goodwill to keep HIM on staff. At some point he also worked in Miami, right?
Once the marriage imploded and WendiJill and Danny weren't on good terms, it seems Danny would be more than willing to make it a LOT less important to have her on staff at the university (rightfully so if it's not an amicable split!).

WendiJill was licensed in 2006 and how quickly did she get her non-tenured job at the university??? Seems quick and seems like she might not necessarily have had much experience....

Florida law license is reciprocal in Texas.

Not sure where you are getting this information from but a member of the FL Bar is not permitted to practice law in TX without passing the TX Bar. The exception would be a getting a “Pro Hac Vice Admission” for a single case like Allen Jackson did in the Karen Reed case – he was not licensed to practice in MA.

Any idea on how immigration law works with the courts since it is mostly a federal issue? Does State Bar admittance still matter in federal courts? Anyway, I just assumed that if she was working, WA would be remotely working with Florida clients from Texas. Attorneys do this all the time these days.
