NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- A man wanted in a murder in Florida has been arrested in New York City, and authorities say the suspect confessed to being involved in six additional murders.

That information is being evaluated, and authorities in Florida are working with other law enforcement agencies to determine if the claims are credible.

Nicholas Brent Gibson, 32, was arrested over the weekend on a New York City subway platform after allegedly fleeing Florida following the mid-April death of 77-year-old Eric Stocker, who was apparently murdered with a sword inside his Miami Beach apartment. Gibson was reportedly Stocker's caretaker.
Gibson also reportedly goes under the name "Brent Savage."

This guy is very creepy looking. Don’t know how he’d ever be hired to be a caretaker for an elderly gentleman.

Has anyone been able to track either of these murders down?

Police sources told DailyMail.com last week that Gibson insisted he was 13 when he claimed his first victim, bashing a 'black man' with a brick in 1999.
He said the murder took place in woodland near his home in Kennesaw, Georgia, where he struck again one year later, throwing a special needs child into a river.

I'm impressed the NYPD found him; though I'm sure the facial tattoos didn't hurt.
