There are a number of drug cases (closed) in Hardee County from years ago for Mathew Flores (only one T in Matthew). I can't confirm it's the same guy since this article doesn't provide a birthdate or middle name.

What is interesting is there is no felony case for the murder of his victim, Jose Carlos Martinez in Hardee County. Maybe someone else can locate that case.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement held a news conference in Boynton Beach Wednesday morning, providing more details about the arrest.

Levin, of Palm Beach Gardens, went missing on Jan. 30 after picking up a fare in Delray Beach and making a drop-off in Okeechobee in his red Kia Stinger.

FDLE confirmed that Flores, who was on the run in connection with another homicide case in Central Florida, was the passenger.
