Latest news reports that he may have been suicidal. If he did commit suicide though you would think they have found his body by now with all the reported searches. Praying for his family.

How sad, it seems that they have kept that info out of the news until now. Praying for George.

Seems likely. A straight shot of 1.3 miles and a church across the street. Heartbreaking that he couldn't get through that anguished moment if the body is George's.

I hope it's not him, but it's pretty likely.

Baloney. He didn't jump into a pond to drown himself. He had a great life, good family, friends and a great future and he was not in trouble over a party! Someone murdered him and dumped him in the pond, likely a male jealous over some attention he was getting at the party from a female. Tragic. Just horrifying.

I expect that there will be a thorough investigation to rule out foul play in the event a murder was staged to look like a suicide. And no doubt, Tea Time, that George had such a promising future.
I, too, always think about such circumstances after the Gainesville, Florida murder of Christian Aguilar by Pedro Bravo.
