Case History
Skeletonized remains found in a wooded area, near a creek and train tracks. Skeleton is partial and missing hands, feet, hair, and soft tissue. Bones were widely scattered. No personal effects recovered with remains.

I just searched and didn't find a confirmation from LE. Maybe it's pending. But IIRC, I believe it was a jailhouse snitch that told LE where to look.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WGFL) — Authorities say DNA results confirm remains found in a marsh near Gainesville almost a year ago are those of 23-year-old Hannah Zehner Brim.
Brim is believed to have been about five months pregnant when she disappeared in January 2016. She was last seen riding in a vehicle driven by her boyfriend, Nelson Armas.

Armas was indicted on a first-degree murder charge in September. About two weeks later divers with multiple agencies found the remains in a swampy area near railroad tracks about 2 miles northwest of Orange Heights. Officers believed they were Brim's remains but needed further testing to make sure. Gainesville Police Officer Ben Tobias said the remains, along with DNA standards from Brim's son and mother, were sent to the University of North Texas Center for Human Identification.
A report dated August 17th confirmed the remains were Brim's, Tobias said. The report indicated a certainty of approximately 286.8 trillion to 1, he said. Armas is still being held without bond in the Alachua County Jail.

Perusing through social media offers very worrisome insight as well and it doesn't have to do with the man last seen with her.
Maybe there's something Armas is hiding, but maybe not.

After doing a criminal records search in Alachua County - I saw nothing about prostitution, but what I did see was alarming.

---Served with a protection order, charges stemming from violation of protection order, battery, domestic battery, aggravated battery-deadly weapon, and more.

VERY INTERESTING - She was most recently charged with property damage/criminal mischief the month before she went missing. She disappeared two days before her court date.

Can't help but wonder two different things here:
1.Could she be missing on her own accord?
2.Would someone else not want her to show up to court that day?

She wasn't a prostitute yes she was on drugs she's my baby cousin and yes she stabbed him with the same pocket knife he supposed to have killed her with the newspaper and news really don't know Hannah like we do she's a beautiful person inside and out it's just she's been through a lot in her life time I was with her a lot and her son zay definitely don't deserve this and nobody deserves to die the way she did

that poster was sharing theories from when she was missing. trying to figure out what could have happened. I am so sorry for your loss.

Life sentence for Nelson Armas who killed Hannah because Nelson feared she may have told his wife they were together. Nelson Armas found guilty in Hannah Brim murder
