Wow. That really is close! I’m going to go through newspapers and dig and little more. Maybe one of their heights is listed incorrectly. Thanks for the side by side!

It looks like Harmon has a lazy eye? Or something. Would that be something we could see in a PM? Or an artist creating a reconstruction from a PM? o_O

It is a strong resemblance.

The measured weight for the Maryland UID was only 105 lbs though. That is very thin. I would think the height of 5 ft is almost certainly correct for this UID if the weight is correct.

edited: from the photos of Harmon, I think he definitely looks taller and heavier than 5ft/105. He is a slender man, but not that small when compared to others around him.

Bumping case up. Do they have family DNA for Harmon? The Maryland John Doe apparently has DNA, so I think a comparison might be possible?
(Maryland John Doe:

I don't know. A family member contacted me on here a couple years ago, and I strongly urged them to report him missing and provide a familial DNA sample. I never heard back from them that they had. Hope they did.

His father passed away last year. Hopefully, a family member will submit DNA. We'll see.
I’m a family member of Harmon (his niece). How can I submit DNA?

I contacted NamUs in regards to the possibility that Harmon may be a young man found in MD in May 1973.

Warning, this link has a pm photo
I know years have passed but I do not believe this is Harmon. Does not look like him at all. I am his niece still trying to find answers for my family

I replied with an email and phone number to contact during our conversation, did you not receive it?

Have you tried contacting law enforcement in charge of his case?
In your shoes, I would ask them to add his case to Namus.gov along with a family DNA sample, so that he can be compared to any John Does who also have DNA on file.
But I am not sure which relatives are able to submit DNA.

I am sorry your family has a missing person and hope you do find answers

Yes, I gave all that information previously.

Was Harmon ever entered into namus or doe network?

Bumping up. I am not finding a visible profile at NamUs for Harmon.
