One of the things that concerns me is with the warm winter we've had they can migrate north. That was discussed on the Discovery show.

How far the snakes might expand their range is unknown. Research in 2008 showed they could possibly survive across the entire southern United States.

And research this month showed they could survive in saltwater, which had previously been believed to be a barrier to their expansion.

I'm all for animal rights but I'm rooting for the deer, raccoons, foxes, bobcats, and rabbits this time. If they are venturing into saltwater, that poses a whole new risk.
