Police: Man with history of mental health issues reported missing in Davie

Davie police are asking for the public’s help finding a 30-year-old man who has been reported missing.

Police said Gutierrez has a history of mental health issues and has been diagnosed with depression.

According to authorities, he has also tried to hurt himself in the past.

A South Florida family is desperate for leads as their son went missing Sunday and still has not been found.

The family of Hunter Raymond Gutierrez, 30, said their search brought them to The Fountains shopping center in Plantation where they believe he might have been spotted Sunday night.

A man reached out to Hunter’s family, saying he may have seen him there, barefoot.


They said many factors could have contributed to him leaving, including big feelings he might have right now with the anniversary of his brother’s death and a family pet passing away.

According to Davie Police, Hunter Raymond Gutierrez was last seen at around midnight on Sunday, June 1st.

Detectives said he left all of his belongings at his home, including his wallet and cellphone.

Police said he has a history of mental health issues and has been diagnosed with depression.
