Woman found dead in North Jacksonville

JSO said it appears as if the woman, in her 30's or 40's, was killed by a gunshot wound. She was found outside the Pelican Point Apartments.

Police have identified the woman found dead Thursday at the Pelican Pointe apartments at 1333 Dunn Ave. as Gwendolyn Marie Singleton, who apparently lived in the complex.
