I recently moved to this area (had to look up Windermere to see where it was). I’m surprised it’s not all over the news like a huge story. Maybe because of everything else going on, it’s just a news story....Nothing more, nothing less.

The fact that a man can just ram his car thru a gated community and then attack an innocent family in their home is outrageous and scary as hell. I don’t want to imagine the trauma that is left with this poor woman and child.
I’m blown away that he could ram his car thru the gate. I’d be pretty hacked off at whoever picked that piece of metal crap. I realize a gated community gives a false sense of security but come on. That gate should have locked up, shut down and set off an alarm.

This poor child is going to be terrified to leave his Gma’s side forever. He is a little hero and I hope they can get him into counseling.

Thank you so much Synergizer.

It's a very informative article.

They all seem to be a wonderful family, and very well liked in their community.

I'm glad to see the outpouring of support for Lisa, and the little boy.

So many victims of home invaders like this one seem to be such good, decent, and caring people.

As bad as times are now in our country where it seems the violent people are taking over it's so sad to see the lives of more good people being brutally taken.

Our world needs far more people like this family, and far less of the ones like this one who brutally murdered, and injured this good family.

I just watched an ID show this morning where a little five year old witnessed her mother being murdered. She was such a strong little girl when she spoke with LE. It brought tears to my eyes when she told LE she should have tried to put bandaides on her mom. She told them in her innocent little voice that she forgot to do it. :(

The article said Lisa is at least stable now. I'm worried if she may have brain damage though if he bludgeoned her in head with the bat. It can do such massive damage to the brain. Even if she survives she may not know yet they were both killed. So the worst is probably ahead of her emotionally.

I pray for everyone profoundly affected by their tremendous loss.

What a horrible ending to two beautiful lives.
