My opinion - she was the bread winner from reading about her accomplishments.
Exactly what I was thinking. Interesting that her daughter took her to the bank then dropped her off at home. Mr D could be angry / concerned / frightened he's about to lose his meal ticket. JMO

They sold their home a year ago for a substantial profit.

There is no record that they made another purchase that I can find.
It is possible that they split at that time and didn't actually file for divorce until later.

Why do you find the above interesting? Just want to know what you are thinking.

That is wonderful! The poor lady must have the weight of the world on her shoulders. I hope she gets the support she needs to help her move forward.
Agreed. I can’t imagine trying to heal from the primary problem, knowing my face was splashed all over the media. It’s a double edge sword sometimes.

After you file for divorce, all assets must be accounted for. If her daughter took her to the bank, the purpose was important. If she hasn't done any estate planning yet, there could have been something she need to do at the bank for that. [I recently did my estate plan. Unbeknownst to me, I found out my beneficiaries on one account were never listed. I had to get the Credit Union to add them.]

Did an asset get picked up out of a safe deposit box? Did the ownership of an account get changed? Did beneficiaries get changed? She could have had premarital assets that her husband would have no claim to. In that situation, she may have wanted to ensure her children inherited them, not her spouse.

I still had the tab up on my laptop and as I went to close it the dates caught my eye. The clerk records (linked above) for the dissolution show the divorce was finalized on 6/20/2022. Then on 7/25 a “Request” was filed. Since all documents are sealed we don’t know what the request was.
