Assistant State Attorney Christina Simak is prosecuting the case. Judge London Kite asked her how many witnesses does she have, and she replied "over a hundred."
Kite scheduled Gardner's next hearing for Dec. 1. Gardner and Fernandez Saldana will be tried together and their future court hearings will be in tandem.
Bridegan's widow, Kirsten, attended the arraignment with other family members. His father, Gaylord, joined by his sister, Ashley, provided the following statement afterward:
"If Jared were here today, he would look out at everyone, smile and express his appreciation to you," the statement read in part. "But, he’s not here today. Almost two years ago, my wife and I lost our youngest son to murder. Our children lost their dear brother. His wife, Kirsten, lost the love of her life. Jared’s children lost their father. His death has impacted many. The outpouring of support for Jared has been overwhelming and heartfelt."

The woman accused of orchestrating the killing of her ex-husband, Microsoft executive Jared Bridegan, pleaded not guilty on Friday to capital murder.
A judge said that Gardner's future hearings will be held with Fernandez Saldana, 35, who was indicted by a grand jury on the same charges as Gardner. He has pleaded not guilty.
A pretrial hearing for Gardner and Fernandez Saldana has been set for Dec. 1. The trial is expected to begin on April 13, 2024.

Patrick Kane Korody is one of the elite few who have been certified by the Judge Advocate General as a Specialist in Military Justice Litigation. He also is one of the few lawyers in the country to meet the qualifications to handle capital (death penalty) cases.
Does this mean that Jose Baez doesn't need to take coursework to become DP qualified since 2nd seat can handle capital cases?

JB may be in it for what the SUGardner Empire can financially offer him. He hopes to get Shanna off scot free but we are ready for his shocking tactics. Opening statements are not factual evidence of the case.

IMO if the defense argues that Shanna never knew about the murder plot then why after his murder, did she ghost Jared's side of the family and never lets the twins see their 2 sisters.

We have seen LE statements about how far back Shanna's intent to harm Jared goes. What do they have? The Adleson case, also here is Florida, does have some foreshadowing, in my opinion. I
I wonder if they have digital records going back to before Jared was killed? I wonder if they have records of communication between Shanna and her Mother?
I just hope hope hope they don't screw this one up.
