They have traced the money trail all the way to SG's parents, yet her parents are not touched by this case. Why stop at just charging SG, if the money trail is a proof?

The courts also recently settled a custody dispute between Gardner’s parents and Bridegan’s parents over the care of the couple’s twins.

Full guardianship was granted to Gardner’s parents, who live in Washington state, with visitation rights for the Bridegans, according to sources for the Florida Times-Union.

They don't. Her family has been very involved since his death in keeping the kids from seeing his side of the family. Disgusting and wrong on so many levels. I am not convinced that they didn't help to plan his assassination.

I really want to see the judge's rational.
I need to double check on the kids ages now.
I would hope that they would be able to see through some of this.
however, the fact that they are on the West Coast, and now much more likely getting much influence through the extended Gardner family, their friends and followers, the church... there is probably an army of folks who are going to fight for the Gardners to keep them.

I doubt Shanna and her kids was heavily influenced by and attending her church in recent years....

And boy, I hope he has real grudges against the Gardners and their wealth and influence in the case.
However, I feel somehow they have been smart enough to know they have had to pay him off... bigtime.

If the State cuts him a deal, the Gardners don't have enough money to stop him singing like a canary.

State announced they are seeking the death penalty for both defendants. Since the pairs last appearance in October, Gardner's defense has filed six motions seeking to block the death penalty in her case.

Court documents do not show any motions filed for Fernandez related to the death penalty.

IMO, the State is counting on using the DP to get Fernandez to cooperate!

With the new rules no longer requiring jury to be unanimous -- greater chance to receive death.

Most sane people probably can see through the facade of Shanna-Mario's relationship and get to the motive which was Shanna using Mario's connection to get someone to murder Jared. Baez has a tough row to hoe.

Interesting documents @arielilane …. thank you for including them in this thread.

IANAL….. so there is that qualification…… what is interesting is that IIUC, those documents and that article refer to an irrevocable trust of SG. And there are references to SG parent's contributions to that trust. And there seems to be some ‘ownership’ or assignment? of that trust also to MF at that time. Timing for those events will likely be important to the case against the defendants.

There also appears to be the parent’s acknowledgment that once SG’s legal ‘entanglements’ with her former husband JB are completed, then SG can assume a trustee role in that Trust. That would seem to indicate that someone might not trust a certain individual in the presence of JB…… but would do so once he was not a legal ‘entanglement’ or involved?

Would be nice if any attorney might review some of the documents and their contents. And also hope that authorities in FL and elsewhere continue to ‘follow the money’. So tragic those involved seem to have taken the course they are alleged to have done in the slaying of JB. MOO
